Alternative cover art for "Blackrock" by @contacttheband

Super excited to finally have these songs out there. Album out next week.

Lyrics

Cities stand by day
But fall by night
That's when the iron streets
Come alive
Out to play
Out to play
Steel horses and
Wooden Graves

Kill the preachers
Lift the slaves
Pull the trigger
No debate
There's no guilt in the grave
There's no guilt
In the
Grave

Its not helping me
Anymore
Throw myself into the mold
Split in pieces but feelin whole
Throw yourself
Give up your
Control

There's no guilt in the grave
The wood is rot and the horses are slain
Just another
Just another game

Steel city built on flesh and blood
Throw it away
Just to see
A new one
Just to see
A new one

Its not helping me
Anymore
Throw myself into the mold
Split in pieces but feelin whole
Throw yourself
Give up your
Control

And they walk naked and bald
Toward empty halls
And they drag their bloody heads
Over blackrock
And stained stones
Overflow onto the road
They cannot scream
They cannot shout
As they lift their half dirty hands
Facing the sky
Without shame
Without fear
With a Loaded gun blank stare
And a mind to fear
A reminder to the rest of us here by @ericmulliniks

Alternative cover art for my bands new single "A Setting Sun"

Lyrics

A Setting Sun
On the western crown
Achievement lost no reward
Found

Stare at the boy I once was
Thru splintered glass and bloodied
Hands, blacked out eyes
The road is dark with crosses lined

I ask myself why this time

If nothing else these wounds are mine
These wounds are mine

A Setting Sun
On the western sky
Doubts
Arise
Will it rise?
Will kingdom come, what will be done?
Because I'd

Gladly die
So you can rise
I'd love to suffer
To watch you fly
This body
Isn't mine
This pretty face
Disgusting lies
Blacked out eyes
Burnt out ends
But a soul that will fight
Until I lay dead by @ericmulliniks

Dead Trees

Dead trees without leaves

	Dance in the breeze

Cigarette smoke

	Bounds and breaths

The cherry falls

	With a flick of Ash

Cant recall the last rain

	Pray the wind dont last

		Pray the sun dont shine

But deluge arrives, and never subsides

Til desert floor floods

	Withered leaves hide

And the scent of lost love

Is covered in thyme by @ericmulliniks

The Sun Looked Down - Short Story

The sun looked down upon the dirt dusted streets and the smell of canned food rose up like an offering to an old god. The asphalt growled in sweet slow reverberation and cars passed and all the dirtied lonesome supplicants lined along the gray stained sidewalks with a white church like a blank canvas behind them. The holy constituents, all clothed in white, stood patiently in place and awaited the supplicants and were separated from them behind rows of worndown cardtables decorated by donated food. As the supplicants moved through the slow line as ordained, the poor wept no more as their hollow dried out mouths awaited the gnashing of teeth.

New Poem on Substack, Link In Bio

Ideals

Cars sound out, in the distant

Like waves crashing, on a California

beach town, with Spanish roofs

Train horn glistens the Night

The everlasting final cry,

Of a Being, yet to be born

Sloppy and smoldering

In the primeval soup

Of technological excess

Wires and circuitry

Electrical lines and transformers

Sing loudly in the mind

Complete silence outside

New Dawn breaks

Renewed Sky reigns

Lies multiply, become truth

New Gods fly

New Jersey coasts

Shining orbs, in fleet of 52

Hollow Water, sips the rain

From dry clouds

Inline sprayed from the orifice

Of government ships

Processed shit takes form

Red 40 intestines

Passes thru hemorrhoid rectum

Flushed away in the water of

the porcelain cage

Where all Ideals remain. by @ericmulliniks
