I'm not sure if I want to paint an army with nmm or true metallics. Nmm is nice because there's more artistic freedom and I don't have to deal with metallic flakes getting everywhere, and can leave recessed areas pretty dark. On the other hand true metallics stand out better especially with lots of models, and probably takes way less time overall. HMMMM.

I like the skull more but I don't know where to go with it and other things. More skulls? More asymmetrical sculpts? Something completely different to try and chase an algorithm and what I think people want?

Do I make what I want to see, that clearly doesn't exist yet. Is it because it hasn't been made yet or it is just not interesting or "worthy"?

It isn't a pretty photo but birth is never pretty.

I saw my first parasitoid wasp in the wild today. It was flying slowly with its abdomen dragging behind it like a ghostly dragonfly. It feels like I caught a rare Pokemon, but it's artistic inspiration instead of some pixels and a dopamine hit.
