It was an honor to be recognized alongside the other Campaign US 40 Over 40 honorees last week. I’m truly grateful to be among so many people changing our industry with conviction.

There’s still so much more to do. At @sixplusoneinc we’ll keep putting Disruption for Good to work, using our creativity to make a real difference in our industry and our communities.

Thank you to @campaign_us for the recognition, and congrats to my fellow honorees.

To me, this is just the beginning. Although I’m turning 50 next year… is there a 50 Over 50? Lol.

Last night, Six+One was honored with a Fast Company World Changing Ideas Award for our work with @forthegreaterhoodinc

Our nonprofit gives those in need a one-on-one, high-end shopping experience with the care and dignity everyone deserves. We’re blessed to use our platform to make a difference. The real reward is simply showing love to others, seeing people for who they are, not where they are.

Thank you, @fastcompany for the recognition and for bringing so many like-minded people into one room. It’s the kind of room that reminds you to keep going.

On September 18, Chicago: America’s Hidden War will be released on Tubi and Amazon Prime.

@sixplusoneinc had the honor of helping shape this film alongside @pastordimasnyc , Mark Shaw, @ishep2020 and executive producer Denzel Washington.

This was not an easy project to sit with. The pain, the families, and the young men trying to survive what’s happening in their own backyard stayed with us every step of the way.

Our prayer is that this film opens eyes, starts conversations, and brings more light to what so many in Chicago are living through every day.

This is not only Chicago’s war. This is our war.

Two weeks ago, we were honored to be named Design Agency of the Year by @adage Small Agency Awards.

Thirteen years ago, we left the big agency world to build something different.

Not just another agency. A belief.
We call it Disruption for Good.

For years, we kept our heads down and built. We waited to talk about our philosophy because we wanted the work to prove it first.

Last year was the first time we really started sharing what we’d been building with our community.

Since then, we’ve been fortunate to be recognized by Fast Company, Adweek, Campaign, and now Ad Age.

This isn’t a boast post. I’m just grateful we trusted the process, stayed true to our beliefs, and let the work speak when it was ready.

To our team, clients, partners, and friends…thank you for believing alongside us.

Branding a neighborhood isn’t just color, type, and signage. It’s knowing when culture hands you a moment, and having the guts to put it on the street.

So when Andy Cohen’s New Year’s Eve trash talk took over the internet, Hudson Square answered the only way it could: by giving the king of trash talk his very own trash can, right outside his studio.

Gold garbage-liner ribbon cutting.
A ceremonial key that opened absolutely nothing.
Manhattan Borough President @bradhoylman proclamatio.

$2K budget.
28M+ earned impressions.
Major press.

Recycling trash talk has its rewards.

Branding a NYC neighborhood? Yes, please.

For @hudsonsquarenyc we built a verbal and visual identity with NYC grit and attitude, anchored by the line “Make it in Hudson Square.”

With no paid media budget, we turned the neighborhood into the media plan.

Light poles. Street furniture. Wallscapes. Trash cans.

With lines like “Now accepting Tribeca trash” and “Chelsea? I don’t know her. This is Hudson Square.”

The result: more than 75% of workers and 80% of residents now identify the area as Hudson Square.

Grateful this work helped us earn Design Agency of the Year at the 2026 @adage Small Agency Awards.
