Tokyo apartment antennas Hasselblad 500CM + 150mm + Ektachrome Flipping through my old photos and I just can’t get enough of that Ektachrome and Hassie combo.. the vibrant, punchy colors are really something else #tokyo #travel #hasselblad #kodak #ektachrome by @ericz381
Haisan Leica M10-P + 50mm APO-Summicron Had a chance to visit @haisan.ca last week on opening day! They call themselves a “Chinese Pacific Northwest Tasting Menu” and featured sixteen (!!) courses. Every dish had an incredible amount of attention to detail, and you could really feel the amount of care that goes into each bite. My favorite was tied a squid noodle with century egg and Sichuan peppercorn sauce, and the baked quail stuffed with matsutake and pork. I had the chance to go with my dad, and he thought it was really impressive how the dishes managed to capture quintessential Chinese flavors while often times in a new form. I also wanted to shoutout the bartender Jessica for the great cocktails as well! The highlight for me was the Greener Pastures, which was basically a gin martini with a Sichuan oil and celery juice twist. It was fun, interesting, and delicious - like most of the dishes here. Would definitely be coming back! As an aside, I really need a lens that can close focus and perform well in lowlight for these food photographs, and my M10-P definitely struggles with that… #vancouver #foodie #pnw #leica #foodphotography by @ericz381
“Which one would you choose? The City Mouse, or the Country Mouse?” 💥💣 So happy I got to bring Boom Devil Reze to AniRevo 2026! I loved getting to see all the Reze cosplays and snapping pic! Huge thanks to @ericz381 for the photos!!! #cosplay #chainsawmancosplay #chainsawman #rezecosplay #bombdevilcosplay by @ericz381
Neko Fujifilm GFX100s + 30mm 3.5 I love the technical qualities of the GFX but wasn’t really feeling creative with it for street photography until I started doing square crops with the Acros filter. It’s a big change for someone who’s been chasing after the cleanest most neutral raw files but I get it now… it’s really fun……. #gfx100s #acros #seattle #streetphotography #bnw by @ericz381
Duck Duck Goose Fujifilm GFX100S + 55mm 1.7 Had some wonderful drinks at @botanistdining over the weekend! Our bartender was @ambear_mcmuffin, who was absolutely amazing. The standout cocktail for me was Wolf Peach (not pictured). The Marine Martini (1st pic) is a fun journey as always, and the Bergamot & Bubbles (2nd) was a refreshing way to end the night. Of course, I have to shoutout the Duck Duck Goose (3rd), which was incredibly smooth, with a fun citrus note. Can’t wait to go back! #fujifilm #gfx100s #vancouver #botanistbar travelphotography by @ericz381
Japanese Alps Hasselblad 203FE w/ 110mm f2 on Privia 100F Every now and then I’ll pick up the hassie and complaint about the weight and wanna sell the thing, but the moment I’m out shooting with it all my complaints fall away. Looking through a medium format finder with an F2 lens is such a joy, and I love the results from this setup. It does worry me sometimes that the electronics would make this a VERY expensive paperweight… #japantravel #provia #hasselblad #mediumformat #ishootfilm by @ericz381
Coffee shop afternoons Hasselblad 203FE + 110mm f2 + Provia 100F My first time shooting slide film in years and I forgot how much I love the colors! This was a little cafe in Takaoka I chilled at while waiting for my train. #hasselblad #provia100f #slidefilm #fujifilm #japantravel by @ericz381
Harajuku rooftops Minolta TC-1 + Portra 400 Even after all this time, the TC-1 is my favorite 35mm camera of all time. It’s so compact and I love the images it makes. The only problem is that, as my carry around camera, sometimes it takes me too long to finish a roll of film and it gets weird color casts from sitting in a hot car… #minoltatc1 #kodak #portra400 #ishootfilm #japantravel by @ericz381

True Kobe Talks Leica M10-P + @lightlenslab 35mm AA Took a quick break from posting but now I’m back! This was at true Kobe Wagyu restaurant. They even brought out the lineage of the cow I ate! My opinion on Wagyu remains the same though, even after trying the best - it’s delicious for about three bites, then gets a little too greasy to be enjoyable … #leica #leicam10p #lightlenslab #wagyu #kobe by @ericz381
