Made the drive to San Antonio to show my nephew Kalub just how proud we are before he ships off to boot camp. He’s already enlisted, and while I don’t know what the future holds, I pray he understands how powerful his sacrifice is.

29 years together.

R.E.D. Friday

There's a movement called, R.E.D. Friday, where R.E.D. stands for:

“Remember Everyone Deployed”

It started in the U.S. and Canada as a way for civilians and fellow service members to show solidarity and appreciation for troops serving overseas.
By wearing red, people send a visible reminder to others that service members are on their minds and not forgotten while away from home.

It’s not an official military requirement—more of a grassroots tradition that spread in military communities, workplaces, schools, and even sports teams.

So, don’t forget, y’all - lets all wear red every Friday to show gratitude and support for our deployed troops #REDFridays #remembereveryonedeployed ❤️ by @erika4u2004
