My career started as an OG @maccosmetics MAC girl. Color, glam, drama were my thing. I loved working with middle eastern brides because they taught me how to layer colors in my early days as a makeup artist. Over the years I have learned to embrace the more natural looks, the “no makeup, makeup” look, commercial looks and matte makeup for photography and film. Some moments in this career stay with you a little more than others. ✨Working with Kit Harington was truly one of those experiences. A year ago, herniated discs showed up from being in a car accident. Things got really rough; it slowed down and paused my life in ways I was not expecting. Looking back, it revealed a lot, challenged me to grow, and made me stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.Along the way, I learned a lot of new ways to be healthy, worked with great, caring doctors, and truly showed up for myself. I built healthier habits, discovered a love for long walks, and at 39, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.Today, I’m celebrating the growth, resilience and consistency that got me here. 💪🏽 by @erikamartinez___

Happy birthday to one of my most favorite people in the world my sister @jess_ibarra688 Sometimes I forget she is my younger sister , by only 13 months, because of her wisdom (don’t get a big head). I call her my sounding board and my litmus test to test the gravity of emotional situations. She is the voice of reason and the comedian in my life. Her compassion and laughter has carried me through some heavy seasons. She is a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend.
