Everytime i skip the gym I try to make it up at home so I switched it up with this 30 minute full body workout instead. It definitely had me sweating by the end, and I loved that I didn’t need any equipment.

If you want the workout I followed, comment “full body” and I’ll send you the link! 🫶🏼 by @erikasmoothg

Honestly.. I just do my best lol

Consistency looks different when you’re a mom. Some days I have a full schedule, and other days I’m just trying to make it through the day and that’s okay.

One thing I’ve learned is that staying consistent doesn’t mean pushing yourself until you’re burned out. Sometimes it means taking a day or two off work, resetting your mind, catching up on life, spending time with your family, and getting back into your routine with a clear head.

I also stopped putting so much pressure on myself to do everything at once. I focus on a few priorities each day, keep a routine that works for my family, and remind myself that small habits add up over time.

I’ve realized that taking care of yourself isn’t something you do after everything else is done it’s something that helps you show up better for your kids, your job, and yourself.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, this is your reminder that it’s okay to slow down. Rest doesn’t erase your progress. A reset can be exactly what you need to stay consistent for the long run. 🤍

What’s one thing that helps you reset when life gets overwhelming?

Things that are hard to admit after becoming a mom…👇🏼

1. I miss the freedom I had before kids. Not because I love my babies any less, but because sometimes I miss being able to leave the house without planning every little thing.

2. Motherhood can feel lonely. You’re surrounded by people, but it can still feel like no one really understands what you’re carrying every day.

3. I don’t enjoy every stage. Some phases are amazing, and some are just really hard. Both can be true at the same time.

4. I need time to myself. Taking a break doesn’t make me selfish it helps me show up as a better mom.

5. Mom guilt is constant. Whether I’m working, resting, cleaning, playing, or doing absolutely nothing, it somehow feels like I should be doing more.

6. I miss parts of who I was before becoming a mom. I’m still learning who I am now, and that’s okay.

7. Some days I feel like I’m failing, even when I’m doing my best.

Motherhood is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced, but it’s also the hardest. We need to normalize talking about both sides instead of pretending it’s always magical.

If any of these resonate with you, just know you’re not alone🤍 by @erikasmoothg
