I can’t express to you how being a member of this crew makes me feel. And to have this document (the entire podcast) has a weight I can only slightly comprehend. If you’ve got the notion, give it a spin. #blackconstellation #freshoffthespaceship #kexp by @erikblood

Good evening everyone,

We’ve reduced 2026 Seagaze ticket prices to make the festival more accessible. Recognizing rising costs and financial challenges, we’ve lowered the price to $25, helping more of you experience the festival firsthand—similar to our previous Seattle events where tickets matched our Tractor Tavern nightly rate.

Many of you voiced concerns about last year’s prices; this new rate aims to ensure everyone who wants to attend can. Longtime supporters worried about costs, please reach out—we’re open to options.

Our goal is a welcoming, memorable experience—not profit. We support the bands, deliver quality entertainment, and foster intimate moments with your favorites. Many consider this their favorite festival, and our carefully curated lineup offers diverse styles for all.

We appreciate your support and designed the location in Everett for affordability—usually half the cost of Seattle. Everett offers great food, shops (including a new record store near the festival), and a friendly community reminiscent of a Scandinavian neighborhood. During Pride Weekend, Everett shines with inclusivity and safe spaces for all.

Please confirm your attendance with a ticket so we can celebrate together. If you’ve never attended, we highly encourage you to join us—you won’t regret it.

We look forward to seeing you soon! Ticket link in bio taken in Downtown, Everett by @erikblood

We're hosting a party with some of the best performances in town, and you can get in for only $10!

Past Genius Award winner Shabazz Palaces is headlining the night. Erik Blood will be in town to DJ, and La Mala Noche closes things out with a basement dance party from 10–11 pm.

Miss Texas 1988 and Lady GuGu are hosting the awards ceremony, where we're giving away six big-ass $10,000 checks to this year’s Geniuses. Good luck getting all that for ten bucks anywhere else in this city.

It's time to start preparing your fits now because the art party of the year goes down on September 12. Make sure you get your tickets at StrangerGeniusAwards.com. by @erikblood

We are overjoyed to hear that Everett will have a true legend in the room during the Seagaze festival. The festival has had a long, lovely relationship with Erik Blood, who made himself available to play the first festival along with Irene Barber. We are so excited to think that Erik will finally perform in our beautiful city. Erik is both a talented musician and writer, a superb producer, and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. His music is amazing, and when he teams up with his partner, Irene Barber, you can’t help but lose yourself in it. Erik is a part of the LGBTQIA BIPOC community. I can tell you from experience at the last show he played that the entire room resonates with his music. From his time in the Seattle band The TurnOns to his incredible solo career and his legacy of producing many local bands, both small and large, Erik is a force of nature filled with love. Thank you, Seagaze, for booking this. I’m sure there will be plenty of people who will be blown away by his performance, and the fact that he finally made it to Everett to play for all of us. taken in Downtown, Everett by @erikblood
