BEEN is out! Together with @erikbuschmann

I was touring with Amy Root, Erik was drumming for Klangstof, and we were on the same management, so we kept bumping into each other in hallways and backstage areas.

Now, Erik makes electronic music of his own, and I’d been quietly following it. Turns out we’d been listening to the same UK records, and we both get a little too excited about modular synths and weird little production tricks. So we finally got into the studio together.

The part we didn’t see coming: as of this week he’s also my colleague at Codarts.👨‍🏫

Sound on:) - My dear friend @evavanmanen has an amazing new album out called Tussenruimte and I got to produce a modular synth track with her for it! Eva is such a great artist and I’m so happy to be a tiny part of this album.

I made the synths in a live take with @intellijel Metropolix, Atlantix & Sealegs and @qubitelectronix Surface and Data Bender ❤️ Additional production comes from great artists @roryronde and @erikbuschmann ❤️

Wow, en dank jullie wel voor alle lieve berichten!

@roryronde en ik werkten twee jaar aan dit album, en @erikbuschmann kwam daarbij. Met een groep lieve vrienden namen we het album verder op. We hopen dat jullie het heel erg mooi gaan vinden!
@sharonjaned en @brianelstak maakten er super mooi artwork bij 🧡 en nu is het voor jullie!
