This is for anyone that knew us before Enema of the State….. My first instrument was a bass guitar when I was twelve. I picked it up and I didn’t put it down until I learned this song. Barney was born on July 10th, 2011 on a farm in Michigan. His dad was an Australian Shepherd, his mom a Border Collie. His adoptive parents loved him so much immediately. In 2012 Barney and I moved to California. Our first apartment was right on the beach, we went every day. Besides my brother @scotthfrost, Barney was pretty much my only friend for quite some time, we did everything together. Barney was a master of agility, a sheep herder, and the best snuggler. We climbed an 11,000ft mountain, we ate together at restaurants, drank together at breweries, and played a lot of fetch. Over the years Barney had many roommates, friends, and family members that loved him, and I’m sure some of you got to know and love him through social media. In 2017, Barney got a new mom! @idontpatronizebunnyrabbits came with two new friends, Bear Cub, and Ladybird. In 2020 we brought home our baby girl for him to herd, and got him a house with a yard. He loved our family and we loved him. In 2025 Barney had an episode that lead to severe health problems. Barney fought so hard to stay with us another year. We loved hanging out together until the end, and he was still trying to herd us. On May 1st 2026 Barney passed in a cozy spot between our rose bush and lemon tree. He was almost 15.
