It feels pretty magical to be part of such a historic London tradition!
Bartholomew Fayre dates all the way back to 1133, making it the oldest fayre of its kind in the world. Originally held in the Smithfield area, it became one of the largest fayres in the country — a colourful mix of music, dancing, performers, spectacle, food, drink and commerce.

We're very excited to be part of this year's fayre!

ERIKA & THE RAVENS — LIVE AT 4:30PM
SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
📍 CHARTERHOUSE SQUARE,
LONDON EC1M 6

The thought of her felt like a fairy had visited with a magic wand to tell me that everything was possible, blessing me with some of the positivity I sometimes lack.

A great songwriter, a great showwoman, and not only that, but you could see she worked so hard and did it all with so much love and dedication. The way she spoke about life, the lessons we learnt from her, always with equal amounts of grace and sense of humour...

I cannot say how inspirational this woman has been to me.

We are grateful to have, as some say, lived at the same time as she did. She was true to herself and lived for herself but she also gave us such a big piece of her heart through her art and cared about the world . And I thank her for all of that.

Like my friend Cristina said, now I’ll never know how she played guitar with those long nails. But we all know… she is magical 🦋 by @erikitten

Summer evening playing in my little oasis in Kentish Town.

This is “I Almost Called Your Name” a beautiful country ballad by Linda Martell. From her 1970 album Color Me Country, a landmark record from one of country music’s most important Black pioneers.
