I have been struggling to write this because the reality is, I’m not ready to say goodbye. I know you’re with God & no longer suffering which is comforting, but I just can’t wrap my mind around you being gone. I’m so heartbroken💔 I’m trying to hold it together as you’d want me to, but it’s tough. We were just talking, laughing and making plans for the near future. I’ll never forget all the things that you taught me, the love, the stories and all the memories.

How could I forget things like:

- Chasing Omarion down in the airport and making his security guard move so I can take a picture with him & then making fun of me afterwards 😂

- Being dropped off to high school in the truck as you blasted Tupac 🤦🏾‍♀️

- Looking forward to spending weekends together because that meant we’d be eating little Cesar’s pizza on Friday night while watching a movie on PPV or a DVD

- How proud you were every time we accomplished something

- The way your relationship blossomed with Steven (whew, it was a rough start bc dpwh about us 😂)

- Randomly throwing bbqs because Steve, Vicky and I had good grades 😂

- How scared I was to tell you I was pregnant bc I knew you’d be disappointed & start speaking Creole 😅, which you did, but how happy you were about being a grandad

- Planning my baby shower

Everything we talked about doing, I promise I’m going to do it! I’m grateful that God allowed us to have you for as long as he did because you were truly an angel on Earth. Your heart was so big! You always made a way and spoke life into anyone who would listen. I’m glad I had the chance to tell you how much I loved & appreciated one last time. Please continue to guide and watch over us as you did while you were here. I’ll make sure that Ari remembers who you are as she grows. I love you, Dad “like a circle”. One day, we’ll see each other again & I’ll be able to get another hug, forehead kiss & hear you call me “Enninis”. Kiss Uncle Lucien for me. I know yall have bbq’d for everyone in Heaven by now 😂😘🧡💚

I’m forever grateful that God blessed & trusted me with you. Your light is magnetic, your confidence is out of this world & your heart is so pure. You’re beautiful, strong, smart, compassionate & witty. Rainbow & unicorn conversations have turned into convos about God, fashion, hair & tea 💅🏾 It’s truly not fair how time passes by so quickly, but I love watching you grow through different seasons. I’m so proud of who you’re becoming & I pray you never forget how special you truly are. I love you endlessly 💞🔐
