Congratulations Matthew on 5th in slopestyle today for Team Canada 🇨🇦
It takes years of work to get here and a team of people, friends, teammates, coaches, extended family, surrogate parents, supports, and dedicated coaches. Heartfelt thanks to everyone today for your encouragement. Next on the schedule big air March 29 & 30! taken in Livigno by @erin.lepine

Matthew called out all of the slopestyle tricks this past weekend as #freestyleontario's guest announcer at the MSLM slopestyle Timber Tour. So fun to see ON team teammates, Jacob Harley & Max Moore now turned coaches with #fortunefreestyle accompany their athletes. Congratulations to everyone that made this weekend happen! Leo Reid pictured with Matthew took gold both days in U12! Way to go bud! JaxMac Foundation by @erin.lepine

Unfortunately, Matthew fell during big air training yesterday and suffered a grade one AC separated shoulder, which will require 4 to 6 weeks recovery. He’s in good spirits though, and will be out cheering on team Canada later today when they compete in the qualifier runs. by @erin.lepine

Matthew is a grant recipient and proud ambassador of the JaxMac Foundation "empowering youth and challenging them to be all that they can be.” This little dude in the picture just walked up to Matthew at the awards ceremony during the Toyo Tires Canada Canada Cup put on by Yukon Freestyle Ski Association and Freestyle Canada and asked to have his picture taken. #inspiration, #community, #acceptance. Thank you Fortunefreestyle SkiClub for giving Matthew his roots and launching him out onto the world stage. Way to go Matthew for winning gold! by @erin.lepine
