I’m so glad we went to the two workshops over on Vegas.Alex came out and gave the room a few hours, answering a lot of questions. But what stood out to me the most? His team!Watching that team operate taught me more than any framework could. The people you surround yourself with set your ceiling. Build the best team you can.Being in the room was what made a difference. Yes, you learn a lot on any seminar. But the real value for me was meeting other business owners. Learning from them. Seeing they are going through similar challenges. Getting inspired by their ideas. Most owners fly blind. Build the systems to capture, access and actually use your data, and it stops being a mess and starts being a map. I’ve been telling people this for ages, but now I call it data risk. The day you stop learning because you think you know it all is the day you stop growing. If you’re not growing, but everyone else is? You’re shrinking. They take the notes, feel inspired, fly home, and do exactly what they did before. We were never going to be those people. Information is worthless without implementation.Thousands of dollars and a flight to Vegas, and the lesson that mattered most was the simplest: go home and actually do something with it. by @erinaroxx
