Big anger is something I stay away from in adult life, but having observed it daily in my childhood, it’s something incredibly easy to channel. Gratitude for a profession where tapping into life experience aids in the process.

RIP sweet Anne. A few weeks out from her passing & initial grief…plus, countless conversations on how impactful she was to the community. (I know there’s so many here who knew & adored her + more on other socials.)

I just want to leave a tribute for the kindest of souls. The most vibrant of lights. Going through old voice notes & messages, thankfully we never left how much we appreciated each other unsaid.

I worked with her on more gigs than anyone & from my earliest of days in LA. From LA, to San Diego, to Vegas, to NYC. (I truly don’t remember the Caution Tape costume, I would’ve lost money if anyone bet I ever wore that. 😂)

I’ll remember her surprising me on my birthday during her busiest of times. And during her darkest of days checking in on me to make sure I was ok with what life had tossed my way.

I’d like to think she did so much good here her soul decided its mission was complete on this earthly plane. 💗

If you happen to visit Vegas, you might see her beautiful, warm face still gracing machines for many years to come.

If there is an afterlife, Anne, you & Amie better save me a spot on the dance floor!! 🩷💃🏻💃🏼💃🏻

It’s my BIRTHDAY!!!🎈 Here’s a collection of screens over the years of me doing things I love with incredible humans. (Swipe till the end for an early screen/piece of “art”.👧🏻)

🎁 My favorite ask on Birthdays is for people to gift unexpected acts of kindness to others. Esp. in a time of such divisiveness in our world, I challenge you to do at least 1 act of kindness today, ie: buy someone coffee/a snack, let a stranger go ahead of you in line/take a parking spot, or venmo someone paying for a drink/coffee, etc.

‘23 Q4 Joy pt1 💝 From a bunch of lil bookings, to witnessing a friend since childhood marry her dream partner, dance improv grounding me in my body & much more good not captured on camera.

Ending the year with immense gratitude for these experiences, friends & the people I’ve met along the way.

UPDATE: Dr. Amie’s killer was found guilty on ALL charges & was sentenced to life in prison w/o parole. This is for the many who asked me to update them on the murder trial of friend & frequent dance gig + on-screen co-worker. ♥️

For those who didn’t know her, she put herself through school with dancing, on-camera work & spinning fire like a total badass goddess. She got an MFT + PhD, transitioned into a therapy practice & provided education in various mediums, including writing a book. This is just a glimpse of how wildly incredible she was.

I don’t have the mental capacity to have so many update conversations, so I’m leaving this here. I might hate the reminder & take it down, might leave this as a tribute…I’ll see how I feel. ♥️

She is loved by many in the LA community, so my apologies if seeing her face is triggering. It took me a while to say anything further, as it still makes me physically ill.

This is fittingly long-winded, like our conversations to & from far out of town dance gigs or on music video sets for long hours mostly discussing psychology, human behavior, trauma healing & the mind.

Hopefully she’s moved on to another impactful life and/or is floating around protecting & guiding people as she did on the earthly plane.

Living on forever in memories ♥️💋
