There are some new faces here, so I thought I’d do a little get to know me 🤍

I’m Erin, a Toronto-based content creator who shares plus size fashion inspo, with a love for thrifting and bargain shopping… because I’m almost always on a budget, and there’s nothing better than finding an amazing piece for a steal ✨

I grew up in a bigger body and often felt like an outsider. My size defined me in ways I didn’t choose, and finding clothes that actually fit especially in the early 2000s wasn’t easy.

So now, I create for that younger version of me who never felt represented 🤍

I don’t just share fashion, though. I share the hard stuff too navigating grief after losing my mom in 2019, my journey with anxiety and panic attacks, and everything else life throws my way.

Because I truly believe social media shouldn’t just be a highlight reel.

So if you’re here for thrifting finds, outfit inspo, little glimmers of joy, and healing alongside a pretty special community… you’re in the right place 🫶

Just a little public service announcement! 📣 plus-size women are still here, still shopping, and still asking for fashion that actually fits 2026 bodies, not outdated sizing. Inclusion isn’t a trend, it’s the bare minimum…just saying

POV: you find the snack that hits the perfect sweet + salty balance 🍿✨

Meet my latest obsession: French Cancan Popcorn’s Sweet & Salty flavour, crunchy, delicious, and the kind of “just one more handful” snack that somehow disappears way too fast 😂

Made in Canada 🇨🇦, gluten-free, vegan, and with no trans fat, it’s the perfect addition to movie nights, picnics, road trips, or a little afternoon treat. Thank you @frenchcancanpopcorn for sending me this to try!

Consider this your sign to grab the popcorn 🍿💛

Just a little clip of what I wore as a plus size girl to the Death Cab for Cutie show as a size 20/22 who is still an indie/emo girl at heart, even 20 years later ❤️

Orange is my colour this summer 🧡🍊

Outfit, purse, bangles and sunglasses are @penningtons

I am wearing a 2x in the shorts. For reference I wear a 22 Jean, and a 1x in the top. You can size down for the shorts, I wanted the loose look.

Something I’ve really struggled with, and honestly have struggled with since the moment I left the hospital without my Mom, is that I have never felt the same.

My body, my energy, the way I moved through the world… everything felt different.

For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me. Then it all came to a head when I started having panic attacks. My body felt like it was stuck in survival mode. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t relax, and the only thing that seemed to soothe the feeling was pacing.

When I finally spoke to my doctor, she explained that what I was experiencing were panic attacks. The NP looked at me and said, “Erin, you have been through a lot over the last four years.”

That sentence stayed with me.

Because after my Mom died, I did what so many people do after a loss. I kept going. I went back to work. I showed up. I took care of things. I tried to convince myself I was okay.

But maybe I wasn’t okay. Maybe I was surviving.

And four years later, when the shock had started to wear off, my body finally had space to process what happened. I was grieving, whether I was ready to or not.

I recently read something that said grief isn’t just an emotion. It can change your nervous system, the way you regulate emotions, and the way you experience everyday life.

And it clicked.

Because this has been my experience.

It was validating to understand that losing a Mom isn’t just something that happens to your heart. It can affect your entire body.

Sometimes grief doesn’t show up when we expect it to. Sometimes it waits until we finally have a moment where our body says, “I can’t carry this alone anymore.” If you feel different than before your person died, please know you’re not alone. Me too ❤️

I will say, Toronto is the vibe ❤️ we gotta do it for the plus size girls, especially in 2026 when we are expected to shrink ourselves. Love my plus size community in Toronto 👌

Episode 1 of #citygirlsummer I have also been calling it a Sandlot Summer because of how it really is the summer of simple pleasures. A lot of pool visits to beat the heatwave, and things around the neighborhood. I am going to a couple concerts coming up and have a ton of other things on my list, stay tuned!

I saw a trend that said, “2019 you wouldn’t recognize you now,” and it really got me thinking.

2019 me was so full of life and naive to the pain she would experience. She still got so excited for things, concerts, trips, summertime..

She still had her mom. She still had that feeling that life was mostly going to go according to plan. She still had her best friend. Grief hadn’t touched her yet, not the kind of grief that changes you right down to your core.

The kind that changes the way you see the world. The kind that changes your plans for your future.

2019 me would’ve laughed if you told her that one day I’d be okay with not having kids. Back then, I always imagined a big family because that’s what I grew up with. I couldn’t picture my life any other way.

Now? I’m genuinely content with my little family, me, my husband, and my stepdaughter. And that’s something I never thought I’d say.

2019 me also wouldn’t believe how much anxiety could grow. I’ve always been anxious, but grief, COVID, panic attacks… they changed me in ways I never expected.

But I also don’t think 2019 me would recognize how strong 2026 me is.

She wouldn’t believe everything we’ve survived. She wouldn’t believe that even after some of the hardest years of my life, I’d still keep showing up. I’d still build a career I’m proud of. I’d still create content that means something to me. I’d still find things to laugh about.

I’m not the same person I was in 2019.

Some days I miss her.

But I’m really proud of the woman she became.
