Faleminderit, Albania. 🇦🇱

What started off as me not understanding how God was going to use me turned into Him using me in the most unexpected ways.

This trip taught me to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Meeting all these people has been one of the biggest blessings. The kindness they showed us and the way they welcomed us with open arms is something I’ll never forget. Even though I only picked up like five Albanian words, I definitely picked up their love for one another.

One thing I can’t say enough is, faleminderit, Jesus.

Thank You not only for the cross, but for everything after it. Thank You because I’m not only saved, but so is everyone who chooses to follow You.

I’m so grateful for this mission, the people I met, and everything God did in and through it. I’m honestly just in awe of the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness. Our God is always on time, and I get to serve Someone who is good 11/10 times. Thank you, @ccv_students , for letting me be a part of something so beautiful.

One of the biggest things I learned is that sometimes you’re not going to have the “big connection” story, and that’s okay. I think I went into this trip expecting that to happen, but God reminded me that He has different plans for different people. Sometimes He uses you in the quiet moments, the conversations you don’t even think twice about, or maybe He’s using this trip more to change you than someone else.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

We have to trust that His plans are better than ours, even when we don’t understand them.

God also brings people into your life that you pour into, but He also brings people who pour into you. Every single one of us has a story that points back to Jesus, and it’s a story worth sharing. Your testimony could be the reason someone believes there’s hope on the other side of their darkness.

So... faleminderit, Albania.
But even more than that, faleminderit, Jesus.🤍
