I went to auction school in 2018 but didn’t start @giving4goodevents until 2023.

I had no idea we’d make such an impact in such a short time.

I just knew I wanted to do work that mattered.
I knew I wanted to put more women on stage.

And somewhere between the late-night prep, the early morning flights, and the moments standing in front of a room full of people ready to give — I found it.

$3 million doesn’t happen because of a clever auction format or a polished script.

It happens because of rooms full of people show up to make the world a better place.

That’s what this work really is.

It’s about what happens when generosity meets purpose in the same room at the same time.

I get to be the person who holds that moment.

And I will never, ever take that for granted.

Somebody’s going to ask “who does she think she is?”

Let them. 👑

At 38 I went to school to become an auctioneer.

People had questions. Some of them had opinions..

And at 43 I launched my own auction house.

Now I stand on stages across the Southeast helping raise millions for causes I love. ✨

Here’s what I’ve learned: “who does she think she is?” is usually said by someone who wishes they’d tried it first.

So launch the business.
Take the stage.
Wear the sparkles.

Instagram settings to keep teens safe ⬇️

✅ Teen Accounts turn on automatically — I don’t have to set anything up myself

✅ They limit who can message teens and what they see by default

✅ If a teen wants to loosen any of those settings before 16, they needs my permission first

✅ Instagram also just revamped what teens see by default - modeled after movie ratings, so it’s age-appropriate from the start

Now we’re still having conversations before she gets an account… but I feel more at ease.
