🪐 Curiosity and compassion 🪐

The two things I ask of you when we have a session together.

Curiosity to look at your life experience through a non judgmental lens.

To enquire more deeply into the aspects of your life that aren’t feeling good for you.

To be willing to ask yourself some new questions, and to have the courage to honestly answer the ones I ask of you.

Compassion first and foremost for self.

There is no pass or fail in this life business.

Anything we uncover on this journey together we promise to look at lovingly and with care.

Compassion also for others.

Sometimes we might uncover an old belief that a caregiver or someone important in your life gave you as a child.

We understand that more likely than not, they were doing their best and thought that their perspective on life was going to help you.

When we travel together with curiosity and compassion we open up a whole new realm of possibilities for your life.

Stir that in with a lovely dollop of Reiki and you’ve got yourself one delicious and deeply healing Cloud Reiki session.

I am looking forward to the next time (or maybe the first time) we journey together.

I do my best to live a life of gentle chaos.

It’s a space of being ok with the not knowing.

It’s an allowing of impermanence and change.

It’s a quiet rebellion against pretending you have all the answers.

So we don’t ever have to feel like we’re supposed to be just one thing, or live one way.

It involves a deep level of trust within myself and an openness to sense the environment around me.

It’s takes faith in things that I cannot see, and a presence to appreciate what I can.

It means being open to questions from others, and a willingness to consider another way.

It’s like watching the seed head of a dandelion flower being blown off into the wind.

The fluffy seeds scattered from the stem so erratically, whilst performing mesmerizing and delicate dance.

It’s nuance and duality.

It’s everything at once.

My world of gentle chaos.

Asking “What is Reiki?” is a bit like asking “What is a human?”

Like a human is fundamentally flesh and bones, Reiki is fundamentally life force energy.

And just as the description of flesh and bones does not begin to describe the unique and beautiful variations in each human being, life force energy does not do justice to the varied, intelligent and powerful experience that Reiki is.

Each Reiki is different from person to person.

And while some people experience a similar journey each time they receive Reiki, it is never the “same”.

Most people drop into a deep state of relaxation.

Some journey off into memories or other worlds before I return them back to Earth.

Others watch with surprise as their limbs tingle and colours swirl through their body.

Some people cry.

Some people fall asleep.

And due to the noise of our society, some people have a busy mind that is searching for a job to do.

It’s all perfect.

Because regardless of what you’re perceiving, you’re getting exactly what you need.

The unconditionally loving life force energy is moving through you.

Nourishing you.
Nurturing you.
Bringing you back to whole.

Reiki is no one thing.
It’s everything.

It’s you and Source combined.

Your experience of Reiki is as unique as the freckles on your skin and the passion in your heart, combined with the imaginative world in your mind.

No one can replicate it.

So whilst, yes, Reiki is life force energy and unconditional love, how you receive it is all yours.

My life so far has been a collection of simple things.

The gnarled branches of a tree, curling around themselves like an old woman’s fingers.

Birds hidden in trees singing tunes made of medicine that send my nervous system into rest.

Creamy coffees in old cups resting on soul nourishing books.

I’ll never be someone who can tell you how to make a million dollars, but I can show you how to live a life full of blessings from simple things. x by @erinschliebs

I promised myself I would talk about this stuff in case any other women experienced this.

A bit of long yap from me. X by @erinschliebs

Tiny treasures in my garden. 🧚🏻‍♀️

No filters, no fancy transitions.
Just a gentle Spring breeze and the wonder of nature.

Some people will see my chipped nail polish and a ramshackle collection of plants.

Others will see beauty and quiet magic in these petite little masterpieces.

Look for the magic. ✨ by @erinschliebs

If your day is feeling tricky, stay a little while.

I can’t promise that it’ll fix your day but it will let your nervous system rest for a minute.

And that’ll make it easier to get through your day.

Sending you lots of love. xx by @erinschliebs

Not a fancy set of images but moments in time that I wanted to keep.

Bunjil skydancing.
Roadstops of cute cafes in sleepy towns.
The Murray River. My birth portal.
Magic light.

Gosh I love our caravan. An old lady now but still so full of life.

She gets a bit weary on some of the edges where memories have been made and have left their marks.

But her heart is solid and looks after us all.

Each time we stay in her I feel so held and nourished.

Lughnasadh blessings to you, my friend! 🌞🍇🐚

Let’s celebrate and give thanks for all the love and good things in our lives.

You’ve come a long way, baby.
Time to soak it all in.

This magical place.

She restores my soul, hydrates my bones and gently kisses my heart.

Surrounded by dragonflies, my reminder that the realm of myth and spirit is closer than we think.

The water shared with me her wisdom. She too has had to navigate obstacles and challenges, choosing to maintain her essence and continue to flow.

Each year here I am in some way restored.

The mountains hold the space around us.

This time a storm raged, lightning strikes birthed a fire and rain tumbled into the thirsty earth.

What a blessing it is to exist on this beautiful land.
An actual blessing.

“Hi buzzy bee, what’s your name called? I’m Stevie Grace.”

You delightful child.

Your voice was like a cheeky, squeaky angel when you were little.

Everything you said arrived like the cutest thing my ears had ever processed.

You’re not so tiny anymore, and yet, you still are.

Our littlest one, but by far the biggest heart of all of us.

Your finishing primary school means a final end to the chapter for our whole family.

I can’t wait to see what the world of high school will open up for you.

Congratulations, my beautiful baby girl. 🌼🐝 by @erinschliebs
