I had the most amazing time recording a song @surreystudios yesterday. Cannot speak highly enough of Jack Vasiliou and his beautiful studio. Gorgeous piano, perfect space to lay down some vocals and trumpet too. It was incredible to watch Jack work, really inspiring and just the best feeling ever to listen to the completed track at the end. Couldn’t ask for a nicer experience, and couldn’t stop smiling! Can’t wait to share it with you when the time comes! A couple of glimpses here 😊

It was the most incredible honour working on @freewheelerstheatre #Pantomania as both Musical Director and Songwriter for the production. Sitting in the pit at the brilliant @leatherheadtheatre supported by the best musicians, looking up at the stage and watching Freewheelers’ members shine as they brought their characters to life, and hearing the angelic voices float down from the audience of the #cobhamladieschoir who partnered us for this event, while we all sang and played the songs and music I created for the show, was just magical. Everyone gave it everything, and I’ve never felt such an enormous wave of positivity quite like it before. Oh, and did I mention it was also FUN?! We had a blast. Very grateful to our wonderful team, superb Freewheelers’ volunteers, and every single person who was a part of this unforgettable project.

Picture thanks to Chris Evans and Chris Prout, and @mroliverhall and @krobertn

It’s been amazing to write songs for @freewheelerstheatre Pantomania, coming to Leatherhead Theatre at Easter. I have loved every minute working on this production and I can’t wait for our performances! Also featuring here, bugle smuggling handbags, yummy food, doors I’ve unscrewed, my teal obsession, and obligatory flowers pic to celebrate spring!!! Hope your week’s off to a good start xx

Happy New Year!!!! Here’s to good times for all of us in 2026. Try something new. Try something old! Just… try stuff. Live and love. And 🎶 as much as possible. Anyway… I think it’s Summertime somewhere, so that’s something 😊

Bit of a hotchpotch from a busy time as we head properly into autumn now. Cool, old things I’ve seen, new wonderful happenings (hello #freewheelerstheatre pop-up shop), lifecycles to ponder (is my inner phoenix bursting into flames today or rising from the ashes?); and my love of the natural world continues, so much so I’ve set up another account where I’ll be posting moments captured in the outdoors, both wild and unwild (just like me), find me there @dew_drop_eyes

More summer! Things I made, played, found, obsessed over. Random inspiring things on the beach that make me smile. ‘Constellation’ rocks are my new favourite thing. Unexpected musical adventures. And some time for doodling too. Little moments that lead to bigger ideas. ❤️

Approach to Christmas: Feeling cheery but also exhausted, like I’ve been thrown together, lurching down the road like Frankenstein’s monster but with a smile on my face. 😝

Current mood: Definitely ready to enjoy days of too many meals and some nostalgic Christmas telly. Throw in a couple of crisp winter walks for good measure.

Bring on the paper crowns, and Merry Crimbo to all!🎄xxx

It was such a treat to play the piano at #leithhillplace yesterday for a #surreyculturalpartnership
event.
It was the most lovely afternoon outside, and the Surrey Hills looked stunning.
Leith Hill Place is an elegant 17th-century property with a rich cultural history, including being the childhood home of the English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The room I was playing in has a beautiful display of tapestries on the wall featuring his notation. It was quite something soaking it all in whilst enjoying their wonderful Steinway. In homage to the composer I did include ‘The Lake in the Mountains’, a piece that matches the tranquil atmosphere of Leith Hill Place so well.
It was also really inspiring to listen to the very talented Incubate Artist in Residence @rosie_may.jones perform two of her recent works.
Thank you Karl and #surreyculturalpartnership , Wigwam PR @_tamsinwilliams and Catherine @surreyhillsnt for a special afternoon. And thank you Ali @surrey_hills_arts for this clip of me playing, which is a little composition of my own.
