POSTS STORIES REELS

Well, here goes nothing.

I’ve been thinking about sharing more of my life on here. Not just the flowers and my business, but what I’ve learned along the way.

I guess I should start with why.

After my husband’s first affair, I found myself in therapy trying to make sense of everything. One of the first books my therapist gave me was The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown. That book, along with Daring Greatly, changed the way I looked at life.

I learned about vulnerability, courage, and living wholeheartedly. People brave enough to share their stories helped change mine.

I’ve always believed we’re all here for a purpose, and that we each have gifts we’re supposed to use.

Never in a million years would I have imagined becoming an entrepreneur, especially one who has to be the face of her own company! But here I am. And maybe this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I have one chance at this life. I want to use the gifts I’ve been given and hopefully make a difference in someone else’s life. I don’t want to look back and wish I’d been brave enough to try.

So I guess it’s my turn to share some of my story.

And boy, do I have some stories.

From thinking I’d move to Russia to work with orphanages, to raising a family, discovering I was dyslexic and earning my GED in my 30s, navigating marriage and heartbreak, starting a flower company, and now dating at 49 after 25 years of marriage.

The last time I dated, I was 20 and had a pager. So you can imagine what dating apps have been like! I could probably write a book. 😂

There’s been a lot of therapy, reading, hard lessons, mistakes, and thankfully a lot of laughter. I certainly don’t have life figured out. I’m still learning.

I’ll be sharing life, love, entrepreneurship, dating, books, and whatever else comes along.

Maybe something will inspire you, help you feel less alone, or just make you laugh.

Brené Brown introduced me to Theodore Roosevelt’s words about the man in the arena. It’s about showing up and trying, even when you might fail.

So here I am, stepping into the arena.

I have no idea where this will go, but at least I can say I dared greatly. by @erintchampion

Tonight’s the night!
A few months ago, I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience … I won a contest to meet Lori Greiner from Shark Tank and attend her incredible fundraiser supporting LA firefighters. Out of thousands of entries, I was the lucky winner, and it felt surreal.

Tonight, the episode airs, and I can’t wait to relive the magic of that day. Moments like this become little markers in your life. Feeling so grateful, and even more grateful that I got to share it with my daughter. 💛

Tune in with me to Shark Tank tonight! I’ll be watching with a huge smile. by @erintchampion

Well… I’m changing things up and trying something a little different.

Because honestly, I’m a little tired of the dating apps.

But I’m still hopeful.

I’m a romantic. I believe my person is out there. I believe in deep partnership, laughter, kindness, chemistry, shared values, and building a beautiful life together.

And thankfully… I only need one good man. 😉

I’m genuinely looking for a real partner, but I’m not in a hurry.

I love my life. I love my work, my family, my friends, my quiet mornings, my big dreams, and the beautiful little world I’ve built.

I’m not looking for someone to complete my life.

I’m looking for someone wonderful to share it with.

One small disclaimer…

You’ll have to make it through my friends, family, and children… and they are loving, loyal, protective, and not easily impressed. 😂

Swipe through for the details.

And if you think we’d click, tell me your biggest goal for 2026… or the first place we should travel together.

No man bashing. No victim mentality. Just growth. 🤍

I won’t let how my marriage ended define the 25 years we shared. There’s so much to be grateful for, and so much life still ahead of me.

My Why ❤️

I’ve been so inspired by the courage and vulnerability of others who have shared their stories. Their honesty has helped me heal and reminded me that I’m not alone.

I’m hoping to pay that forward by sharing my own journey. I certainly haven’t figured it all out. I’m still very much in my messy middle, but maybe that’s exactly where the sharing needs to begin. ❤️

Well, here we go! ❤️

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a long time, and I’ve finally decided to just start.

I’m approaching 50, and my life looks absolutely nothing like I imagined it would a few years ago.

The last few years have brought some unexpected changes, a whole lot of lessons, and quite a few stories to tell.

I’ve learned so much from people who have been willing to share their lives and experiences on social media, and I’ve decided it’s time to share mine.

We’ll be talking about life, love, divorce, dating in your 40s, motherhood, entrepreneurship, healing, and all the things we’re still figuring out along the way.

I’m not here because I have all the answers. I’m here because I believe we have so much to learn from one another.

So welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m really glad you’re here.

And trust me, I have some stories to tell! ❤️

Meet Henry. The new man in my life. And quite possibly the love of my life, besides my children, of course!

We had two dogs we absolutely adored. They both passed away a few years before my divorce, and thank the Lord for that because there definitely would have been a custody battle!

After my divorce, my nervous system was a wreck. I’d never really been alone. I was the oldest of five children, got married at 21, and spent the next 25 years raising a family.

And suddenly, at 47, I found myself living alone for the first time.

I didn’t know what to do with the silence. I couldn’t sleep. I’d wake up in a panic, and honestly, I still do sometimes.

My daughter, in all her wisdom, suggested I get off the dating apps and trust that maybe I’d meet my person at church or volunteering somewhere.

And for goodness’ sake, GO GET A CAT!

While at Auburn, she’d gotten two cats after our dogs passed away. They became her comfort animals, and our whole family fell in love with them. She knew firsthand how much comfort they could bring.

As much as I wanted another dog, running a business meant I just didn’t have the time.

So my daughter took matters into her own hands and got me Henry.

And oh my goodness, what a gift he’s been.

My sleep is slowly improving, but I still have rough nights. And here’s the sweetest thing.

Every time I wake up in a panic, Henry somehow knows. He climbs onto my chest, curls up, and purrs until I fall back asleep.

If I wake up again an hour later, he does it all over again.

I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him.

I never imagined that after 25 years of marriage, the new man sleeping on my chest every night would be a cat. But here we are!

Sometimes love shows up in the most unexpected ways.

And I have to say, I’m incredibly blessed with my daughter. She’s wise beyond her years, and this is just one of the many times her advice has been exactly what I needed. I always joke that somehow I managed to raise a mother for myself, in the very best possible way!

It’s workshop time at Posie Fields! 🌸🌻✂️

One of my favorite things about hosting floral workshops is watching people slow down, get creative, laugh, connect, and simply enjoy themselves!

I always share a little wisdom from Brené Brown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection, where she talks about wholehearted living and the importance of making time for creativity, play, and rest. I absolutely love that reminder! Sometimes we get so busy with life that we forget how important it is to simply have fun and create something beautiful. 💕

And what better way to do that than surrounded by flowers and friends?

🌸 Did you know we also host private floral workshops? Perfect for girls’ nights, birthdays, team gatherings, or just an excuse to get your favorite people together! DM us for more information.

And can we take a moment for my adorable new name tag?! My fabulous and talented friend Diksha created it for me! Go check out her beautiful work at @rainandshinedesign

Here’s to more creativity, connection, and play! 🌷 by @erintchampion

One of my favorite things about this season of life has been all the new people coming into it!

Happy hour with my new friend Rachel last night turned into one of those conversations where you look up and realize hours have gone by. She’s a photographer, an entrepreneur, incredibly creative, and we discovered we have so much in common.

I had the best time getting to know her, and I have a feeling this is the beginning of a really sweet friendship.

I’m just really grateful for the new friendships, connections, and people life keeps bringing my way. There is something pretty special about meeting people at this stage of life who just click. 🥂✨

And if you’re looking for an incredibly talented photographer, go check out Rachel’s work. by @erintchampion

I’ve been thinking about doing something a little different with my personal IG page.

I’ll be 50 next year, which is honestly a little hard to believe. 😂 And when I look back, I feel like I’ve already lived a whole lot of life.

Some of it has been beautiful. Some of it has been really hard. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve had to start over. I’ve learned things about myself that I wish I had understood 20 years ago, and I’m still figuring plenty of things out.

One thing I know for sure is how much I’ve been helped by other people who were willing to be vulnerable and share their stories.

Brené Brown had a huge impact on me years ago because she helped me understand the power of vulnerability. And even here on social media, I’ve learned so much from people who were brave enough to talk honestly about the things we usually keep to ourselves.

Their relationships. Their failures. Their insecurities. Their businesses. Their healing. Their health. Their dreams. The things that worked and the things that absolutely did not.

It made me feel less alone. Sometimes it made me think differently. Sometimes it gave me the courage to make a change in my own life.

So I think I want to do a little more of that here.

I want to share pieces of my story, things I’ve learned, things I’m still learning, what I do to take care of myself inside and out, building a business, finding purpose, starting over, relationships, beauty, style, family, friendship, and probably plenty of random things in between.

Not because I have all the answers. I definitely don’t.

But if something I’ve lived through, a mistake I’ve made, or something I’ve learned along the way helps even one person feel a little less alone or a little more hopeful about what’s possible for their own life, then sharing it feels worth it.

I think that’s part of what I want my life to be about anyway. ❤️ by @erintchampion

Current chapter: working hard, laughing often, figuring out the rest as I go. Building big dreams, spending time with good people, getting dressed up every once in a while, and trying to remember to enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build. by @erintchampion

Happy 25th birthday to my beautiful Madie.🎉

I truly couldn’t be prouder of the woman she has become.

Madie has always made parenting such a joy. She is incredibly hard-working, responsible, talented, and creative. She’s a gifted writer and artist, and now a software engineer, but what I’m most proud of is the person she is.

She is kind, generous, thoughtful, and incredibly caring. She’s always checking on the people she loves, making sure everyone is okay, and finding ways to help. She loves her people so well.

Madie, watching you grow into the woman you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I hope you always know how deeply loved you are and how incredibly proud I am to be your mom.

Happy birthday, sweet girl. I love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤️ by @erintchampion
