This is me... Howdy! Most of you know me as Mrs. Haus of Chroma, Blond specialist and now certified Color Analyst, but that's not where the fun stops ✨🥰

When I'm not at the salon, I'm keeping house and child rearing. Every morning I look forward to honey latte ☕ it truly never gets old, and sometimes I have two!

I love to read and write books. When I grow up I'd like to publish a novel 😝

I crochet 🧶 It helps my brain feel zen, and the repetitive motion resets my nervous system. I could make blankets all day long.

Most of these hobbies point to my introverted nature, but I do have an out-going side. My husband and I like to host themed parties, and I've always felt like Hospitality is a gift I'm trying to refine. I love cooking/baking for my family and friends, and I'm usually the one pestering you with "Is there anything I can get you?"

I love laughing so hard I wheeze, dancing at weddings, surprises, and deadlifting 🙈😂

When asked what color most of our Guests gravitate toward, the answer is almost always BLACK; but did you know that there are only two seasons that can handle its intensity?

Look, we get it! Black is elegant, and feels like a safe choice, but we PROMISE that there are a wide variety of better choices out there for you (even if your palette includes black) that will make getting dressed easier, and more fun!

So you like to wear (blank) color, but in a world of over 5000 different shades, how do you know WHICH shade is best? How about why?

With color analysis, finding out the Why is just as, if not MORE, important as finding out Which. Each season has a dominant character trait that brings more balance and radiance to the skin than others, and knowing what that trait is actually gives more fashion liberties than you could imagine!

I used to be pretty experimental with my makeup, but there were some looks I struggled to pull off! Between different techniques, and accounting for my "hooded" lids, a Dramatic smokey eye never looked right! But I could always resort to a soft, blown out shadow and feel like the prettiest lady in Puppet Land!

Dramatic looks like this one require too much structure, and is too strong for my Romantic Essence, which is best when it's soft and rounded! The Dramatic eye look appears costume-y on me, and ages my face, as well as shrinks my already hooded eyes; while the Romantic eye's soft edges enlarge my eye, brighten, and lifts my features, while remaining mature and sensual!

So if your makeup routine has you feeling slightly "off", maybe you should reevaluate by looking into Style Essences! 💄❤️💋
