Abba (Father),
Thank You for loving me by sending Your son Jesus to die for my sins. I confess that I ….
(share your sins honestly to God).
Please forgive me.
I repent from ….. (share your disobedience, rebelling, un-forgiveness, whatever it is, confess it to God.)
I choose to turn back to You and leave these things behind.
Holy Spirit, I want to follow Your leading,
help me to obey and listen to You.
Thank You for Your grace, Lord.

Find godly people, friends, community where you can ask for help to stay focused on what truly matters! Stay rooted and grounded in love! God is love!

Is life kicking you? In your school, finances, relationships, home, business etc..

Kick it back with Gods word, with prayer, with positive people who uplift and kick it back with your obedience to God! Don’t believe negativity, circumstances & factual problems. Just believe who God says He is and who you are to Him. Period.

Don’t just stand still and be paralysed! Move into the direction of God! There is peace, joy, calmness, focus, love wisdom, riches, honour & there are solutions for everything you need with Jesus..

Let’s gooo. I’m kicking it back with you!

It’s been a whileeeee...
Has anyone ever had that random, subtle fear of doing the thing you wanted to do and know you can do it?

Like... why not just get up and do it? Is it laziness? 😭

But anyways these days I’ve been thinking about how many times I’ve tried, started, and then somehow didn’t press in to finish what I started.

Not because I didn’t want it.
Not because I didn’t know what to do.

I just didn’t. That’s so weird like bruh..
And if I’m honest, I think a lot of us know that feeling.

People say motivation is the answer, but I believe motivation gets you started.
It’s definitely discipline that keeps you going.

And sometimes, it’s obedience that’s missing.
Obedience to what God is asking you to do.
Obedience to take the next step.
Obedience to trust Him again when you’ve been stuck in your own thoughts…

This is a real reminder for me as much as it is for anyone reading this:

Let’s start again.

That thing you’ve been putting off?
Pray, trust God, lean on the Holy Spirit... and go do it.

We live and we learn :)

In de wereld noemen we het feedback, maar in Gods wijsheid noemen we het correctie.

Liefde is soms zo confronterend dat het je uitdaagt om te veranderen. Dat kan letterlijk betekenen dat je gecorrigeerd wordt op iets wat nog niet veranderd is…

Dat is begrijpelijk, toch?

Maar mmmh… waarom doet het zoveel pijn als iemand jou corrigeert? Waarom raken we geïrriteerd wanneer we die woorden horen?

Omdat vaak de plek waar je nu bent jouw comfort, identiteit, doel of plan was, terwijl God je ergens anders naartoe wil brengen.

En wanneer je gecorrigeerd wordt, word je als het ware voor twee paden gezet. Jij mag dan kiezen: blijf je leven in je oude ik, of kies je toch voor het pad dat vaak moeilijker is, maar wel leidt tot verandering?

Niet alle correcties komen van God, maar het Woord heeft genoeg verzen waarin wij gecorrigeerd worden op ons gedrag, onze hartsgesteldheid en ons denken.

Correctie zegt eigenlijk:
“Ik zie meer in jou. Waar je nu bent, is niet alles wat Ik voor je heb. Verplaats naar de plek waar jij kunt groeien en bloeien.”

Dus wat je kunt doen wanneer je een correctie ontvangt van je leidinggevende, ouders, discipelaar, voorgangers, juf of meester op school…

Reflecteer.
En denk na over waar je nu bent en welk pad je wilt nemen.

Wil je groeien,
of hetzelfde blijven?

Your obedience to God by following His Son Jesus always comes before your breakthrough from God 🫶🏽

So walk in that obedience toward Him,
even when it’s hard,
even when you don’t fully understand it yet.

Because through obedience,
God wants to lead you into the freedom, love, peace, joy, life and blessings He has for you.

Keep following Jesus.

Insecurity… it’s such a weird word when you really think about it.

It’s almost like a belief system.

When I was insecure, I truly believed I wasn’t capable of succeeding in certain things, or that I was ugly.

I had so much faith in those lies that every action I took flowed from that insecurity. Instead of believing what God said about me, I followed what insecurity told me.

One of my biggest insecurities was the acne on my skin.

I started overcoming that insecurity by reminding myself:
“I am secure in the way God made me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Period.

And honestly, that’s where overcoming insecurity starts.

1. Realize that you’ve been believing the lie more than the truth of God.
2. Bring that insecurity honestly before Jesus. Lay it down at His feet.
3. Remind yourself of what God says about you. Declare His Word over your life. Believing the Word is a choice, not a feeling.

And after a while, you’ll notice something changing in you.

Because let’s be real, acne isn’t fun. But instead of obsessing over it, trying every crazy thing to get rid of it, or feeling sad about it, I now bring it to the Lord. And He gives me peace, wisdom and guidance how to deal with it.

That made me more secure in Jesus than insecure about my acne.

So many people deal with insecurity. Can you also relate?

If you can, let this be your reminder that there is a God who truly cares for you and wants you to bring your insecurity and anxiety to Him.

And if this encouraged you, share it with a friend who might need this reminder today.

Whatever you do, your obedience to God can help someone meet God, who is love.

What is Gods love language?

I believe Gods love language is obedience.

To obey someone literally means to be in submission. Think about how Jesus submitted Himself to His Father’s will to willingly lay down His life for us. Wauw.

Obedience equals love to God. Instead of trusting and following Gods heart for us, we rather obey our own hearts..

Obedience is choosing love.
Obedience is trusting in love.
Obedience is relational with God.

When Jesus asked His Heavenly Father anything, the Father ‘obeyed’. God teaches us obedience in how He waits for us, rescues us and serves us. To obey is to have a humble heart.

God’s love language is obedience.

Try to understand this depth of love and try to submit yourself to the One who first submitted Himself to the suffering of the cross for you.

Jesus loves you, do you love Jesus?
