When my husband and I first got married, I had almost zero cooking skills and often felt discouraged trying to decide what to make for dinner. Thankfully, my mom, friends’ moms, mentors, and other women further ahead than me in their homemaking journeys reminded me that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Their advice was simple: keep it simple.

That encouragement inspired me to start this page. My hope is to share practical ideas, encouragement, and honest experiences as we learn and grow together in the art of homemaking. I’m still learning, too, and I’d love for this to be a place where we can encourage one another along the way. 👒

There’s a hydrangea painting (not pictured) that I found in a little shop in Newport years ago that I still think about. In the moment, you tell yourself, “I’ll find something like it somewhere else.”
