Hello, my name is Ernesto, creator of Nine of Hearts.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

Growing up in Mexican culture, many of us were taught not to cry, not to complain, not to speak up at work and just do.

Over time, I bottled a lot of that up, and the pressure builds.

Sometimes all it takes is a simple, “Hey, how are you really doing?” to release that valve 🥹 😭.

Let’s check in on each other.

It’s okay to cry around the campfire after the battle.

Nine of Hearts was created to help spread mental health awareness and encourage self-expression through the arts—photography, video, graphic design, printing, and creativity in all forms.

Sometimes I lose sight of that mission and focus too much on the short-term reward of making money. But every day is a chance to reset, refocus, and try again.

It’s okay to have bad days.

Be the sun. Shine at your brightest, and keep showing up even during your darkest moments.

Reach out. Speak up. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

I’d love to hear from you:

What challenge have you overcome during the past year?

What did you learn about yourself?

Share it in the comments.

You never know who might read your story and find the encouragement they need to keep going.

Wishing everyone a great week. And 🇲🇽 ⚽️ LFG!

Sometimes you’re not seeking an opinion but validation, and honesty from others can feel disappointing rather than helpful.

This episode is about ego, honesty, and hearing truth from caring people. ♥️

Tag someone who always tells you the truth, even if you don’t want to hear it.

I tag myself 😂

Investing in yourself beware ‼️ 🚨 YOU WILL BE TESTED⚠️⛔️

Some days it’s frustrating…and humbling.

But remember “This too shall pass.”

What’s something you started and tested you right away? 👇
