»Det var den 22 november och en stor storm hade dragit in över Engelberg dagen innan.

Sol utlovades, så jag och fyra kompisar bestämde oss för att sticka upp till Brunni – the sunny side of Engelberg.

Toppliften var stängd på grund av all snö, men tur nog hade alla med sig stighudar.

Till och med Oliver hade, för en gångs skull, inte glömt sina tådelar till sitt Cast-system.

Så från mittstationen började vi turen upp mot toppen.
Väl där uppe möttes vi av orörd snö så långt ögat kunde se. En fantastisk start på säsongen med andra ord.

Vi fotade, åkte, fikade och hade en galet bra dag på berget. Eftermiddagen kom och dags att börja avsluta dagen.

Titlis hade nämligen arrangerat en musikfestival på Trubsee, där Kölsch skulle spela – något vi absolut inte fick missa.

På väg ner mot dalen såg jag plötsligt några riktigt fina skuggor som träden skapade i snön.

Jag hade drönaren med mig och fick en idé som vi bara var tvungna att göra. One last shot!

Det här är bilden.

För mig symboliserar den kamratskap, samarbete och good times. En sån där stund som egentligen bara blir till när man är på rätt plats, med rätt människor och har en riktigt bra dag på berget.«

Popping in to say hi 👋

A few years ago, after countless seasons riding in Chamonix and Engelberg, we realised that the trails and the stories that come with them were too good to keep to ourselves.

So we built LeRipp, bringing together our backgrounds in hospitality, specialist travel and business to create mountain bike escapes that feel personal, well crafted and rooted in genuine riding.

What we mean when we say local knowledge.

To start the ride, you simply pick up the phone at the station and call Mr Durrer. He then operates the cable car and brings you safely up or down the mountain.

And the reward at the top? Routes worth the ride. 🤙🏻

November in Engelberg 💁🏻‍♂️
From summer to winter in the blink of an eye, and one of the many reason why we love this place.

It has been dumping here in Engelberg, turning the valley into a deep snowy playground. Yet just a few days ago we were riding through the quiet autumn trails in the golden light. Balance, right? 🤣
