Happy 128th Birthday • to all my Corpsman brothers and sisters.
Serving as a Corpsman was a privilege, and serving with the finest Marines was an absolute honor. Earning the title 'Doc' will always be my greatest badge of honor.

Through the good times and the bad, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

One last moment: as I was leaving Fort Rosecrans, I ran into my coworker, Carlos. He was up there with his family because he wanted his boys to understand the sacrifices that were made to ensure their way of life. He was showing them up close what freedom looks like.

He sent me this picture. I thanked him for remembering and honoring our fallen, and for instilling that sentiment into his young sons. by @ernie_becquer

I will keep the Table for the Fallen dressed until the candle flame is extinguished.
I will then transfer their pictures to my altar where I keep my Mom.

God bless our Heroes and their families.

To all those who took the time today to remember. Thank you 🙏🏽 by @ernie_becquer

I placed this Table of the Fallen in my home,
Memorial Day is a day of honoring our fallen and their families who carry the burden of loss every day. For them, every day is Memorial Day.

Please honor and remember:
Charles Luke Miliam and Gregory N. Millard, both Heroes KIA and all our other Brothers and Sisters who paid the ultimate price at the altar of our freedom.

A true way to honor them is remembering their lives and living yours well.

The Symbolism of the Table of the Fallen.

The Table and Settings:

The Table (Small and Set for One):

Represents the frailty of a single prisoner, alone against their suppressors. It is set for one, symbolizing that they are missing from our midst.

The White Tablecloth:

Symbolizes the purity of their intentions when responding to the call of duty.

The Single Chair:

Empty, because they are not here.

The Black Napkin:

Represents the sorrow and mourning of the families left behind, and the somber reality of captivity or loss.

The American Flag:

Placed in the center to honor their ultimate allegiance and service to the nation.

The Elements on the Plates:

The Slice of Lemon (on the bread plate):

Represents their bitter fate if they are captured or lost in a foreign land.

The Pinch of Salt:

Symbolizes the tears of the missing or fallen, and the tears shed by their families as they wait or mourn.

The Glass and Candle:

The Inverted Glass:

Symbolizes their inability to share in this evening’s toast or meal with us.

The Lighted Candle:

Reflects the upward reach of their spirit, and a beacon of hope that illuminates their memory—or lights their way home.

The Remembrance Pieces:

The Single Red Rose (in the vase):

Reminds us of the families and loved ones who keep the faith, awaiting the return of the missing, or honoring the memory of the fallen.

The Red Ribbon (tied to the vase):

Symbolizes the dedication and determination to account for our missing.

The Bible:

Represents the strength gained through faith to sustain us and those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God. by @ernie_becquer

Celebrating Maggie Collins –
A Breast Cancer awareness Warrior

This year, I’ve had the privilege of biking alongside my dear friend Maggie Collins as she faced one of life’s toughest battles: stage 3 breast cancer.

Since January 2025, when my journey started with her, Maggie has endured chemotherapy, two surgeries, and now radiation therapy. Each step of the way, she has faced it with resilience, grace, and a smile that could outshine the darkest of days. And the best news of all—every test so far shows no presence of cancer.

Through the treatments and all the procedures, Maggie has continued to ride her bike, reminding all of us that healing isn’t just about medicine—it’s about movement, joy, and living fully. Every mile has been a testament to her strength, her faith, and her unbreakable spirit.

My motto has been: “The difficult anytime, the impossible by appointment only.” But Maggie has redefined what that means. She’s shown me that quitting isn’t even on the table—because there is ZERO quit in her.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I celebrate Maggie—not just as a survivor in progress, but as a warrior, an inspiration, and a beacon of hope for everyone who is fighting their own battle.

Here’s to you, Maggie. Thank you for showing us all what it means to truly
LIVE LIFE.

If you are familiar with me, you are aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans. This issue weighs heavily on my heart, so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am concerned that I will receive four responses, as this is a pressing concern. Twenty-two Veterans succumb to their struggles daily. May I request that two friends or family members copy and repost this message? Someone's life may depend on it. ❤️‍🩹 Call the Veteran's Hotline at 988 #1 or 844-647-1354. I am asking for just two by @ernie_becquer

Started with Apple on September 5, 2008, today marks my 17-year Apple anniversary. This is a remarkable company, filled with incredible coworkers, and it has always supported me through both the best and worst times. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and there is still so much more to be a part of. Who knows if I’ll make it to 20 years, but it’s the goal. by @ernie_becquer

In the narrative of Moby-Dick, a leader’s descent into personal obsession, vengeance, or the pursuit of power results in a disregard for the welfare of those under his command. Captain Ahab’s relentless pursuit of the white whale exemplifies this, as he demands unwavering loyalty, compelling his crew to join him on a perilous journey that ultimately leads to ruin. The followers suffer the consequences of the leader’s fixation. The stark warning is evident: be wary of leaders whose actions are driven by their vendettas or ego. To remain on their vessel is to risk perishing alongside them. by @ernie_becquer

Mi gente,

Big thank you to my friend Charlie for introducing me to Haram drumsticks, and Thanks to the folks at Haram for allowing me to be part of the family #HaramFam.

It’s been awesome using their sticks and yesterday I picked up my personal signature sticks, they are 1/2” - 16.5” made out of hickory, each pair is weight matched. Their attention to detail is top tier.

Such a great honor representing their brand and playing their sticks. Gracias 🙏🏼 Haram.
