POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are so excited to announce Erin Poole @ernie_rin as our 3rd Curator!

Erin's practice explores the strata of performance and interdisciplinary collaboration as enlivening and necessary forms of intimacy. She often uses playful failure and subverted logics as modes of creation across her work.

As a curator, she is focused on creating the conditions for collaborations between dance artists and children to form and flourish through exchange and reciprocity.

Stay tuned for more about Erin's projects by @ernie_rin

♾️ The Phantom Postal Service is a participatory choreography conceived by @rollerderbymagic The Service allows you to give life to messages, meant for those you’ve lost or those you miss.
♾️After a guided meditation you are invited to either write or record a message into a walkie-talkie.
♾️You can deliver your message through the booth and the ether, and in return, receive a message from someone else

🔄

I’m grateful to Vicki for inviting me into this project. The beginning of our friendship was shaped around sharing in loss and grief and searching for the play, lightness, direction within it. Enacting the Phantom Postal Service together felt full and harmonious! 🐚💌🪽

We constructed this little lavender booth in my bedroom, and together spent a day at @401richmond facilitating and experiencing the project. Thank you deeply to those who participated in the many meaningful exchanges, and to @summerworksfun and @onculturedays for having us. by @ernie_rin

New video for @alphabetofwrongdoing song Ashamnu אשמנו

✨ Link to full video in bio ✨

The Ashamnu, or Alphabet of Wrongdoing, is a Jewish prayer of communal atonement written in the first-person plural, alphabetically listing all of the wrongs ‘we’ have committed in the past year. This spiritual accounting is undertaken in community and is understood to be a necessary step on the path towards a just society
