*Golden State Film Festival 2026 Official Selection*

Still coming down from this weekend! Pretty surreal to see a movie I made on the big screen in a packed auditorium at the TCL Chinese Theatres(!?). So grateful for all the friends who came out to support, those who shared kind words, and ESPECIALLY those who made this film with me in NYC but couldn’t be there to celebrate. THAT’S A WRAP 🎬 on The Screen Tests of Roughly Tyler! WOW! What an incredible (and way too short) ride with the best people. Feeling very lucky and thankful for everyone who came together to help me make a frikkin movie (!?). Many said it couldn’t be done and that it was too long and some even said it was irresponsible🤔. But my team never blinked! They said that we are, all of us, in a way, the actor and the director of our own movie! And that I had to make SOMETHING before I moved to LA! Thank you so much to everyone who supported. I love all of you. Ok gotta go edit this thing ✌️ by @erosen11

Cannot believe @emma_mcglashen made this whole thing happen. She is amazing. I’m so grateful for everyone who was involved, especially these wonderful actors who trusted me and brought these plays to life.

This was my first time directing for the theatre and it was one of the most exhilarating things I’ve ever done.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported, especially my family. I am so sad it’s over. But I am happy it happened. ❤️

If you’re not getting photos done by @lucasgoldmanphoto then can you really even consider yourself or anyone else in your whole circle - like social circle/professional circle - and that’s including anyone else who’s taking photos of you as well, I wouldn’t go so far as to say tik toks (tik toks are more short-form sketches, they can be comedic but don’t have to be), but could you even consider these people true artists??? In order to be the best you have to collaborate with the best. And that’s first and foremost, I think a more important thing than people realize. You can’t go it alone in this industry and that’s something that ultimately extends to life as well, just in general. It’s nice to be surrounded by people who get you and uplift you. And I’m lucky enough to say I have that. And Lucas is one of those people I can go to. If you’re considering getting photos done, you should do it! It’s really quite the experience and can change your brain on a molecular level. by @erosen11
