Realized we hit 30K the other day, and now I feel like HOV.

“Allow me to reintroduce myself…” headass. 🙃

For everyone who’s new, welcome to The Fifth Floor. And to everyone who’s been here from the beginning… 🗣️ HEYYYYY, NEIGHBOR!

Turning this house into a home has not been easy or cheap🥴. But yall remind me that it’s worth it and I’m forever grateful!

Welcome Home 🤎

There’s been a lot of confusion about why I call this series THE FIFTH FLOOR if I’m only holding up four fingers… Hopes this helps 😘

* No @solelyfruit jerky were harmed in the filming of this *

Welcome back to #THEFIFTHFLOOR 💚

Funny how something as simple as unboxing a rug birthed all this.

What started as me figuring out how to make one apartment feel like home turned into a whole community of people doing the same thing in their own spaces.

THE FIFTH FLOOR isn’t just a journey of home improvement, but a reminder that home doesn’t have to look a certain way. It just has to feel like you.

Anyways… I’m in love with my new rug. I’ll call y’all back later.

Some projects take a little longer to find their final form and I’m learning to let them. 🥴

For this one, I’m officially handing the creative direction over to yall!

What mat color would you put with this piece?

So Tag @michaelsstores + tell me your pick in the comments.

Mentally I’m still in #Paris , so let’s go to The Louvre!

And out of all the notes I could give…..it would be to pack your portable AC bc you will get hot and Mona’s house is the only wing with a real one🥴. Grateful to @leighfromatlanta for being my built in tour guide, didn’t know our sisterhood came with that feature! Be back soon 😘

My Southern accent may be thick, but when it comes to another language… I’m always gonna try to speak it.

I’m nowhere close to being fluent in French, and I definitely stumbled through words, but I’ll never let the fear of sounding “wrong” stop me from trying. To me, making the effort is a small sign of respect for the people, the culture, and the place I’m visiting.

The locals can always switch to English if they can, but I think it’s worth meeting people where they are first. Besides… struggling through a sentence is half the adventure.

Be gentle in the comments… Duolingo and I are still in a situationship. 😂🇫🇷 #frenchforbeginners #paris
