Allow me to introduce myself again.

For years, many people have known me by a name connected to a specific chapter of my life.

That chapter was real. It represented creativity, ambition, survival, music, lessons, mistakes, victories and the person I needed to become at that time.

But I have entered a season where I no longer want to separate the different parts of myself.

I am embracing my full name: Ervin Ward.

The father.
The founder.
The creator.
The man still growing.
The person building ScoreShift.
The person becoming more intentional about his life, relationships and legacy.

I was not sure how the change would be received, especially after being known one way for so many years. The response reminded me that people are often more ready to embrace our growth than we think.

This is not about rejecting my past.

It is about bringing every version of myself forward and allowing my real name to carry what I build next.

Most of you know me from the music.

The last year and a half, I’ve been building something different. You can see I’m in grind mode, no haircut just grinding. 🤣

Most of you follow me because of music.

But for the last year and a half, I’ve been quietly building something that’s become much bigger than I ever imagined.

I quit.

Started over.

Rebuilt it.

Then did it all over again.

Not because I failed—but because I knew it could be better.

Building a startup has taught me that the hardest part isn’t the technology or the business.

It’s having the courage to keep answering the call when everything around you tells you to stop.

I believe everyone has a mission that’s bigger than themselves.

This is mine.

Over the last 18 months, I’ve been building ScoreShift—a financial platform designed to help people better understand their credit, make smarter financial decisions, and create more opportunities for their future.

Today is a big day for me. I’ve been spending time with God listening to him and putting in the right actions.

My first baby, ScoreShiftApp.com, just took a major step forward.

Officially locked in a new partnership that’s going to change how we operate and how fast we can move for our clients. The biggest thing is that God trusted me with an idea and I trusted him to guide me to bring it to fruition. All I want to say is CREATE God placed us here to create! Trust him and it will work!
