Today marks a great milestone In my aviation journey with Delaware State University.

07/24 is the day I soloed an aircraft, a milestone less than 1% of the world population experiences. That’s absurd to think about, and I did it within 16 days of my first flight.

Grateful my instructor, Delaware State University Aviation program, and the people who kept on pushing me forward…✈️

Today marked a major milestone in my aviation journey, I completed my first flight lesson with Delaware State University!

As a rising Sophomore in the Aviation program with a Professional Pilot concentration, this was my first time in the cockpit, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. From learning how the aircraft operates, the safety procedures, and what is expected from a student pilot, to finally taking the controls in the air, every part of today reminded me why I chose this path.

Grateful for the instructors, and Delaware State for this summer aviation program. This is just the beginning of an amazing journey.
