What a day! Day three of the @ashlandmysteryfestival was amazing. It was extra cozy and autumnal out this morning for our walk through Lithia Park. I had so much fun talking ghosts with everyone at the Peerless Hotel and drinking wine with you all at Resistance. And then it was off to the masquerade ball! My table was pickle themed (obviously)! That cute little light up pickle guy is Cukes O’Cornichon (if you’ve read Creep It Real, you know all about him). I had soooo much fun! I can’t believe it’s over tomorrow! 😭 by @erynscottauthor

It’s day two of @ashlandmysteryfestival and I’ve had sooooo much fun already. I started the day with a delicious coffee from @mixashland (you cannot tell from this picture but it was served in a mug so big it was basically a bowl 😍.) I have to hit up the @paddingtonstationashland Perk window tomorrow before my walk in Lithia Park. Next I had a tea at @lovejoystearoom_ashland with the amazing @mckinlayjenn. Wonderful tea, amazing food, and even better company! After my panels were done for the day, I went to the mystery dinner with @island_ericka. What. A. Hoot!!! Thank you to everyone who came to my black cats signing at Paddington today! I can’t wait to pick a winner for the mug raffle! by @erynscottauthor

We are thrilled to partner with Eryn Scott to celebrate the upcoming release of "A Fright to Remember," the 4th book in the "Black Cat Investigation" cozy mystery series! To commemorate the release, Eryn is working with Lauren Hollowniczky from @capyclayceramics to create the cutest pickle mugs. And we get to raffle off two of them!

Here's how to win your very own pickle mug.

-Pre-order "A Fright to Remember" or purchase a book in the "Black Cat Investigation" series from Salmonberry Books any time from October 1 to November 13.
-You can purchase your book(s) online or from the store. (But the mugs are pickup only, sorry!)
-Be sure to provide your name, phone number, and email address when you make your purchase.
-Wait anxiously to hear whether you get to add this adorable mug to your drinkware collection.
-Enjoy the most delightfully spooky, but not scary, books around.
-The winner will be selected on Friday, November 13th!

We can't wait to reunite with Queenie and dive back into the world of Brine. Even better if you get to do so while sipping from your very own pickle mug. So pick up a book today and join the pickle mug drawing!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE this book???

Every time I return to this series, it’s like walking through those lobby doors, taking a deep breath of the now-explainable rosemary scent, seeing the Conversationalists in their armchairs, and sinking back into the Morrisey family. I put on my trusty grunge playlist, remember that Ripley and the building have my back, and I’m ready to write in Meg’s POV.

This book is:
🍁 Fall!
🥰 Found family galore
💕 Packed with swoony Laurie scenes (he’s just the greatest, so some might argue that I HAD to…)
👻 Full of new ghosts to love (and sometimes hate, lol)

Okay, so I sort of put Meg through it in this one. Those of you who have read book 6 know that means something. It’s a bit more emotional than your run-of-the-mill Morrisey, but it’s worth it! Series-wise, this sets us up for a lot more Morrisey fun to come!

Those of you looking for the perfect fall mystery, I hope you’ll find it here! Thank you so much for loving this series as much as I do. ❤️ by @erynscottauthor

With Morrisey book 7 releasing this Friday, I thought it would be the perfect time to show you the beautiful cover for book 8, A MURDER IN THE MAILROOM. 😍

When my designer @tornedge.co.uk sent me this cover, I immediately fell in love. I’m soooo excited for this story. I can’t wait for spring 2027. It’s up for preorder now. You can find it on my website. by @erynscottauthor
