To my mum who has been my personal PA and behind the scenes manager, i love you 🩷

When my 1-1 lessons turn into “Storytelling with Emma” 😅
•
All jokes aside, storytelling is one of, if not THE most important thing when it comes to performing 🎭
•
Our job as performers is to show our audience the journey the character has go on and going through and we have the pleasure of doing it through song, dance, art!!! 🎶
•
I’m missing my students and can’t wait to get back to it (once I’ve enjoyed my city break) 😉✨🫶🏼🎶

A little snippet of me 💞
•
This is from 2022, look a little different now 🤣
If anyone is looking for someone to film a vocal reel, Jack at @vocalsessionsuk is so kind, makes you feel so confident and comfortable in the studio 🎶
Definitely in need of an update!! Cannot recommend enough!
•
If you are looking for some help in how to pick songs that show off your range, what suits your cast type, or just some guidance on songs that would be good for auditions, drop me a message ✨

There’s a difference between singing and performing, and I am VERY passionate about that 🩵
•
My students are sick of me saying this, but my one key piece of advice when it comes to setting and staging is “if you feel silly, you’re doing it right”
The bigger the face, the bigger the actions, the more exaggerated you are, the BETTER it translates to your audience! 🎭
•
Lilia is one of my students who I have been working with a lot on characterisation and the DIFFERENCE from the first lesson is leaps and bounds! Very proud of her ✨

✨🎶Student Spotlight🎶✨
I have been teaching at Studio 7 for a couple of months now and gosh are these kids FULL of talent!!! 😍
•
We are in the thick of Competitions at the moment, prepping and practicing, always improving!
However, the lovely vocal group came 3rd in their section with our Wicked Medley this weekend and I could not be prouder of them 😭🩷💚
•
I have to remind myself of what I was like at this age, these students have so much passion, their enthusiasm to perform and sing and learn from one another as well as me is inspiring 🥹
•
I cannot thank @studio7dance enough for trusting me and inviting me in to join their team 🫶🏼 I cant wait to see what we do together ✨🤘🏼
The Testimonial is from the school Principal @tracey_wilkinson

✨♥️I Wish I May - Witches of Eastwick♥️✨
•
A snippet from the most recent show I had the pleasure of taking part in for @roundabouthomeless
I have been singing with these two lovely ladies for a very long time, and it is always a pleasure to share the stage with them 🥰
•
Lois and I have been singing partners since we were 8 years old, 20 years singing together (!!!)
Dance and Performing arts school from a young age not only teaches children the importance of discipline, patience and of course, dance skill, but also builds friendships for LIFE 🩷
Callie and I met in school and have been singing together ever since, throughout school and university!
The three of us joined forces and became a trio back in 2022, our voices compliment each other and we work hard on our harmonies ✨

✨🫶🏼Student Spotlight - Miss Eloise🫶🏼✨
•
When I first started lessons with Eloise, she was exceptionally shy!! 🙈
She was very quiet, reluctant to speak to me and didn’t want to leave her parents side…NOW, she is excited to start, has pushed to make the lesson 45 minutes rather than 30 and keen to get away from parents to get on with singing!!! 🎶
•
The little girl in this video is a completely different student to when I started with her back in March, and for 7 years old, what a gorgeous little voice she has 🥹
I am excited to continue our lessons and see her grow 💐

✨🩷Doing what I love, with the people I love🩷✨
What an honour it was to join the annual “A Night at the Musical” show for the 6 year in a row, in aid of an incredible cause @roundabouthomeless 🎶✨🪩🫶🏼
•
This year we were lucky enough to do 2 numbers in the show and join @beccaamylee in her number as the Muses 🫶🏼 I have always loved how performing brings all people together, not just performers but the audience too! For such a worthy cause and a local one of that!
•
A huge congratulations to all those involved and to the team at Roundabout for once again putting on an INCREDIBLE event ✨🎭 cannot wait for next year!
