Ever noticed how the most expensive item in a store is always front and centre?

That jacket isn’t there to be sold.
It’s there to make everything else feel reasonable.

This is price anchoring at work.

Once your brain sees a $900 jacket, a $160 polo stops feeling expensive and starts feeling like good value. Not because it is cheap, but because the reference point has been set.

Great brands don’t compete on price.
They shape perception.

The anchor sets the ceiling.

Everything below it feels safer, smarter, easier to say yes to.

So next time something “feels like a bargain”…
ask yourself what price you saw first.

Three Great Displacements.

We have seen the digital revolution, but we are now in the AI revolution. What spanned over 30 years, will not be sped up to 5. Stop delaying implementation. Work forces are going to operate with a higher output, you will need to keep up.
