G’DAY!
“But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭28‬
5 weeks of camp I got to experience were so beautiful and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
The Lord is so good and it was so evident at camp. I was so blessed to be able to serve alongside such amazing people! I am grateful for the refining the Lord did in me that allowed me to depend more on Him and look to Him to be my strength. He is so so good and moving in ways we can never fathom or understand. He worked wonders at camp and we saw it each week with new campers. I saw the Lord in the way he united everyone with different gifts to serve His purpose. It was so beautiful to see the multitude of gifts all at work in the way He intended. The Lord is a crafty creator! I saw Him in answered prayers each week and in conversations in the kitchen. Working alongside people eager to serve was beautiful, and it taught me so many different things about the Lord. Truly blessed to have seen Him revealed in so many ways week after week. I look expectantly to what the Lord continues to do!! taken in Pine Cove Outback by @esammfish

UNASHAMED

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

After being dissatisfied by this world, I turned to the one who is not in this world, and am eager to proclaim the work he has completed in my life. I am a sinner but God has so graciously extended freedom from my sins and mistakes. I struggled with perfectionism and people pleasing, and I struggled trying to do this on my own will. However, I now choose to accept the freedom extended to me and vow to live each and everyday according to His will for my life.
I proclaim this truth publicly getting baptized this past Sunday. I never felt good enough to get baptized, but that was the perfectionism talking in my head. God never called us to be perfect, but as believers we are called to seek forgiveness of our sins and accept the gift of Jesus dying on the cross. I will never deserve the grace and love the Lord has for me, but I vow to honor Him to the best of my human abilities each and everyday. I also accept the gift of forgiveness given to us freely through the cross. taken in Saint Petersburg, Florida by @esammfish
