Guys this truly is one of my favorite romance books I’ve read in awhile! Thank you so so much to @susietateauthor and @putnambooks for this gifted copy for review. This was my first Susie book, but she is gonna be an auto-buy author for me now because omg I’m obsessed! These are interconnected standalones, this is the second, but can be read without reading the first! I want to go back and read the first though because I loved Clara and Rafe in this book! The FMC in this book may be my favorite ever. She is honestly best described as a ray of sunshine, BUT she is such a strong character. Our man Rory needs to grovel and she makes him grovel. She doesn’t take his crap and i absolutely loved it. Honestly groveling trope has to be one of my favorites and Susie did it so freaking good. Rory is one grumpy Scottish MMC and he was perfect for Poppy’s sunshine! When he grovels he really does make an effort to change from his mistakes! This one is second chance which can be super hit and miss for me, but in this case I was obsessed! You get the perfect amount of background and little flashbacks without long chapters about the past (which I tend not to like as much) so it was pretty much perfect. This book had me laughing out loud ( set in London & I loved all the characters and both their families) and it made me cry too πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜πŸ©· I loved Granny so much! I’m so excited for the next book to come out and there are two characters mentioned that I’m dying and just praying that we get a book about them aswell! 😫🀭 This book comes out November 3rd!! But the first book is on KU now! Thank you again Susie and Putnam! also swipe to see my favorite quote from the book πŸ₯Ή Do you have a favorite Grumpy MMC? Rory may be my new favorite πŸ˜‹ by @escape2thehea

When the book you are reading just feels like ✨home✨ πŸ₯Ή At this point any book that @ellekennedyauthor writes in the Off Campus world is gonna be a comfort read for me! If you have read Off Campus I have to beg you not to stop there! There are even more amazing books in the same world (*cough cough* Briar U) Loved this one so much! Can’t wait for the next one 🀭 what book is a comfort read for you?! ( also s/o to my husband for letting me borrow his guitar this pictureπŸ₯°) by @escape2thehea
