Hey! You found my book account! I’m aware that I’ve gained a lot of new followers recently so I thought I’d introduce myself…

🩷I’m a millennial mum of 3 - one of who is more than likely on the spectrum so I’m grappling all things SEND.
🩷 I’m a qualified Teacher of English - but not currently teaching.
🩷 I’m working towards my SENDCo qualification.
🩷 Obviously, I’m obsessed with books!
🩷 I love reading, the sunshine, being on holidays, sweets and Redbull.
🩷 I love a good thriller.
🩷 I started reading romance and somehow got sucked into dark romance. Big time!
🩷I am obsessed with ACOTAR and I’m always looking for new recruits.
🩷 I want to live in Valeris with my very own bat boy. IYKYK.
🩷 I’m always looking for new recommendations and connections with other bookish accounts.
🩷 ARC reader.
🩷If I follow you, I’ll follow you. Nobody likes anyone who follows to then unfollow. It’s just rude. by @escape_with_reading

I’ve jinxed myself. Over the weekend I posted about not needing (but wanting) a new kindle. Since then, mine has decided it doesn’t like me and has broken. I’m going to contact Amazon today to see if I can send it back for it to be fixed. I feel bereft. by @escape_with_reading

Thank you @lexivaleauthor for this wonderfully autumnal read. I managed to read this within 24 hours. This was a lovely, lighthearted read. Sophie and Lucas are forced to work together after she agrees to work on a pro bona project at work. There, she runs into Lucas for the second time and slowly, they start to realise they may just have some unfinished business. This was the perfect read given that the seasons are changing we are heading into the middle of autumn. 🍂 by @escape_with_reading

I feel incredibly fortunate that I’ve been sent these ARCs in the last week. Pucking Ridiculous was brilliant and I’m half way through Rules for Love. by @escape_with_reading

Last week I received an ARC of Pucking Ridiculous by @rebeccahchase
Pardon the food pun (which totally fits with one of the book’s themes) but I absolutely devoured this!
I did read the first book in the series but you could read this as a stand alone - although the first book is brilliant too.
I really like how Chase included a neurodivergent character in this novel; Flora was so likeable and I really related to her. The first chapter is inadvertently hilarious and had me hooked.
The rest of the book is equally entertaining and I cannot wait for the next in the series.
I will never view Hide and Seek in the same way again though 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
Thank you @lovenotes.pr for sending me my copy. by @escape_with_reading
