Tassie recap 🌿🦘

My hike on the Pacific Crest Trail🌲 here's some information about it:

•It goes from Mexico to Canada across the mountains of California, Oregon, and Washington
•Started May 16th, 2021 from the Mexican border
•Finished September 10th, 2021 on the Canadian border
•It's around 2650 miles long (4260 km)
•I went through 4 pairs of shoes
•I met lots of awesome people who were also hiking (miss y'all)
•You take everything you need on your backpack, just stopping for food resupplies in towns every 3-5 days
•My backpack's weight (without food and water) was 8-10 lb (4-5 kg)
•Ate 3000-4500 calories per day
•It was a great adventure and experience overall! taken in Pacific Crest Trail by @esdanyog

One foot in front of the other 👣

(English below) Lo que llevo de Washington ha sido increíble. A pesar de lesiones y tener que ir un poco mas lento, bosques densos, niebla y frío me han acompañado en esta parte del camino. Me tuve que separar de mis amigos para irme a mi paso, lo cual me ha dado mucho tiempo de reflexión, pues no he visto mucha gente en esta último tramo. Faltan poco más de 400 km, ya casi la recta final del viaje, y los sentimientos de que esto está por terminar están llegando. Aunque sea cojeando, sigo con la vista en la meta; nos vemos en un par de semanas Canadá.

So far, Washington has been amazing. Through injuries and having to go slower, dense and lush forests, fog and cold weather have joined me in this last stretch. I had to say goodbye to my friends to go my own pace, which has given me lots of time to reflect, considering I haven't seen much people lately. I have a little over 250 miles to go, almost home stretch. With that on mind, I'm starting to have feelings about this journey being over. Maybe I'll have to limp my way to the goal, but still see ya in a couple weeks Canada.
