Streaming what I feel like in-between crashing out on Overwatch 💕

I was 21 when I was sight diagnosed with Adenomyosis via internal ultrasound. I didn't know what it was then, a doctor sent me home and told me not to worry about it. I forgot about the diagnosis and put up with the pain until 10 years later.

I remember going out for lunch with my partner one day, one moment feeling normal and the next moment I couldn't breathe, my abdomen tight and strained, the pain went from my knees all the way through to my sternum. We ended up at the ER hours later, still having trouble breathing, in pain, disassociated, unable to think, scared. They sent me home with referrals to all sorts of specialists and a 'sorry we're not sure'. The pain and disassociation didn't go away for 2 years.

I went to a dozen specialists, I spent thousands and thousands of dollars, I lost direction in my career but I eventually found a gynecologist who spent 15 minutes with me before she said she could guarantee I had Endometriosis. 3 weeks later I was recovering from a laparoscopy, Severe Stage 3 endometriosis.

Unfortunately I wasn't one of the women whose surgery improved their pain, I spent way too long with it undiagnosed. I would bleed through even on hormonal control, the 'periods' would bring pain that I would compare to gun shots or a knife slicing open my abdomen. It left me bedridden. It still does. I can't sit, stand, do the dishes, laundry, go to the shops, walk, eat, shower or wake up without pain.

Endometriosis has left me disabled, with a complex pain disorder, due to years without treatment. If I had been treated at 21 when they saw Adenomyosis things could have been different.

Endometriosis has no cure, the only treatment is removal and even then it grows back. With more research and attention directed at this disease, the 1-7 women who have it could be diagnosed earlier in life, giving them a better chance at a functional life without pain.

I love seeing my friends, I love art and I love gaming. Thank god for cons like @thegameexpo where I'm able to get my fix of all of the above.

This year artist alley was INSANE, if you ever want a place that gives artists and their small business an opportunity to get their art in front of a large crowd and the opportunity for you to get your hands on their goods then I can't suggest this con ENOUGH. I spent a few coins and many hours walking up and down and back and around the con in search of Disco Elysium merch and I literally cried when I found it.

I can't wait for 2027 at the game expo, it's such a low stress environment for my lil AuADHD brain to interact with friends and gaming and art! I hope to see you there next year! taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @eshryyy

I dont know if you've seen but the Ana perk change for next season looks BAAAAAADDDDD - Like bad... No more Self nano and bounce nade is swapped to majoy but does slightly more damage? Considering me the most unhappy overwatch player in existence right now. She's going to be less playable than she was this season :(

A few more clips with Wuyang from the test weekend. Current thoughts? He's in a pretty balanced place - with the current meta being dive orientated he can lean into it well enough with his ult but also be countered well by dive. He is incredibly fun to get kills with because of his unique primary fire and can be played pretty offensively ;3 But he dies easily once targeted and his only self sustain is using E on himself and shifting out of a fight when you know you're about to be targeted. I feel like on release they might remove a lot of the 'fun' with his primary fire to be less impactful and he'll be similar to Juno on her release which was a bit disappointing.

Have you tried Wuyang yet? I had A LOT of fun playing him first night of the playtest and I can't wait to see what sort of trick shots I can do with his Primary fire.
