And so the looks continue… 👀✨

This week, I think I played it a little safe — but honestly, that was the mood I was in, and that’s perfectly okay! Not every look has to be a fashion statement. 😌

I’m still challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone, experiment more, take a few more risks and have a little more fun with fashion. Some looks will work, some definitely won’t 😂 — but that’s all part of figuring out what feels like me.

One step at a time, one outfit at a time… and I’m still having SO much fun with it! 🖤✨

Okay, so I know I’m no Fashion Guru 😂 and I definitely still have room for improvement when it comes to my style. But this week, I decided to play around with different looks and see what feels right for me.

I’ve always gravitated towards black and white. Honestly, it’s still my favourite colour palette to wear. It makes me feel comfortable, confident and safe. But I also want to start bringing more colour into my wardrobe while still feeling like ME. And I guess that’s a work in progress.

The truth is, we get judged on our appearance all the time. In the gay community, sometimes we’re judged for not being polished or fashionable enough. And in the straight community, we can get judged for being “too much” or too over-the-top with our fashion.

But fuck that! 😂

At the end of the day, the goal is to find MY style — the clothes, colours and looks that make me happy, comfortable, confident and powerful.

I always like to look put together in some way. Some days I feel like dressing up and making a statement. Other days, I just want to keep it casual and comfortable. And you know what?

I’m doing it for ME! ❤️

So wear what makes you feel empowered. Experiment. Try something different. Step outside your comfort zone. Play around with fashion until you discover YOUR style.

Because fashion isn’t about fitting into someone else’s idea of what you should look like.
