England on 35mm 🎞️ This carousel is a little test run for me. For the first time on this trip, I shot with my new Canon Prima Mini Zoom. My lovely sister found the camera for me just before the holiday. The photos were shot on @kodak Gold 200 film.

How good is it to travel through England in September? No longer peak summer, not quite as crowded. But plenty of rain, light, good cafés, gardens, villages and national parks. We let ourselves drift, saw a lot and drank even more coffee.

We always enjoy travelling to England at this time of year. It is no longer peak summer, everything feels a bit quieter, and the weather does whatever it wants anyway. This time, the Cotswolds were just a stopover on our way to the final stages of the trip. In the end, it was exactly the right place for a break. taken in The Cotswolds , England by @eskimo

Heute ist Tag der Deutschen Einheit und meine Bremen richtet die Feierlichkeiten aus. Ich erinnere mich noch, wie ich als Neunjähriger die Demonstrierenden im Fernsehen sah, ohne die Tragweite dieser Bilder ganz zu verstehen. Heute sehe ich darin den Mut von Menschen, die gemeinsam für Freiheit und Demokratie einstanden. Ihr Mut erinnert mich daran, wie wertvoll ein friedliches, vereintes Europa ist – gerade heute. Und daran, dass wir Demokratie, Freiheit und Zusammenhalt niemals als selbstverständlich ansehen dürfen. 🇪🇺 Today is German Unity Day, and my city, Bremen, is hosting the celebrations.

I still remember watching the protesters on TV as a nine-year-old, without fully understanding what those moments would mean.
Looking back, I see the courage of people standing together for freedom and democracy.
Their courage reminds me how precious a peaceful, united Europe is—especially today.
And why we must never take democracy, freedom or solidarity for granted. 🇪🇺

Seoul is a paradise for coffee lovers. Of all the Anthracite locations, Anthracite Coffee Seogyo was my favourite. It felt quieter and less crowded than the better-known Hapjeong branch, with fewer people stopping by just to film a quick Instagram Reel and more people actually taking the time to enjoy their coffee.
The interior is unmistakably Anthracite: raw concrete, industrial details and dark materials, yet somehow incredibly cosy. Seoul does this combination of raw and sophisticated remarkably well. The coffee was excellent, the space was huge, and the atmosphere felt somewhere between a workshop and a design studio. It might be one of the most beautiful cafés I have ever visited. I could easily have spent the entire day there. I also really liked the Anthracite branch in Yeonhui. For me, Anthracite is one of those places you simply have to experience when visiting Seoul. #seoul taken in Anthracite Coffee Roasters by @eskimo

A few impressions from our time in Seoul 🇰🇷 We stayed in Seongsu District and spent a lot of time simply walking through the streets of our neighbourhood, without much of a plan. There was plenty of coffee along the way, including Cafe Far Ben and Anthracite Coffee Seogyo, which was my favourite of the Anthracite locations we visited.

At Gyeongbokgung 경복궁, I enjoyed just watching the people and everything going on around us. And of course, we had to visit the Seoul Book Repository. I find it very hard to walk past a good bookstore. Lots of walking, people watching, books and very good coffee. That was our Seoul. #seoul taken in 서울 - Seoul by @eskimo
