Consider the definition restored 😌

My gorgeous client wanted a natural, sheer nudey-pink to match her favourite lip liner. Her main concerns were the lack of definition around the lip boarder and the paler areas in the middle of the top lip. I strategically mapped out her natural lip shape to restore what is already there and built up the pigment in the areas that need it.

I know I said I wouldn’t do neutralisation… so here we are 😅😇

My client came to me having had lip blush done in the past (not with myself) which left a brown pigment residue around the edges of her lips.

During the consultation, my client explained that she didn’t want to go down the route of chemical or laser removal meaning a correction and neutralisation was necessary.

We started with a bright blend of:
@hanafycolourspigments @hanafy.uk ‘Barcelona’ ‘Strawberry’ and ‘Rose’ to neutralise the darker pigments leftover in her lips and even out the overall colour.

At her 4-6 week top up appointment we added more of the red/pink colour she wanted using:
@hanafy.uk @hanafycolourspigments ‘Rose’ and ‘Strawberry’ as well as @permablend_pigments ‘Date night’.

This final colour will soften by about 30% leaving her with a gorgeous nude based pink and red blush 💋

And for the most important part… pre-draw and outline

The perfect pre-draw is fundamental in lip blush, it allows you to see the shape of your lips before I start tattooing. With the mapping paste we can alter the shape as many times as needed to achieve the best symmetry possible and carve out the perfect cupids bow to suit your lips.

The outline plays such a key role in defining the lips and is tattooed directly inside the pre-draw. Getting a crisp outline ensures the shape remains even, and gives me an exact border to tattoo within. It also helps me gauge the thickness of the skin and how best to work on your lips.

My go too’s are the @agnespermanent_ mapping paste and the @luna.cartridges 1RL 0.25LT PLUS cartridges from @cosmedic_supplies 💋

The perfect red ❤️

Lip blush is a semi permanent tattoo where custom blended ink is tattooed into the lips to enhance colour, redefine the shape and boarder, and create easier mornings with less makeup 💋

In this case it was a correction and neutralisation to cover old mauve pigment in the lips (not previously done by me)

My client had lip blush done previously around 6 years ago, which had faded beautifully to a natural light coral colour. Today she came in asking for a natural pink… and of course, we did just that. This colour you see straight after will fade by about 30-50% during the healing process and give my client the perfect result.

How did I get there?
I used the titanium dioxide present in her lips (the white pigment left over from her previous lip blush) to my advantage, and was able to achieve a natural pink without using any products that were too… pink. I used a blend of @brovi.uk ‘pink opal’, @etalonmix_uk ‘2’, and @hanafy.uk ‘rose’ 🤍

Some lip blush cases like this don’t need laser to remove previous pigment as it has an even coverage, subtle residue and is easy to work with.
