I’ve had some guache paints for so long that some have dried to the point that they don’t come out of the tube. I really enjoyed using them and I want to use them again. I just need to do it on proper paper and perhaps larger paper as well. Decided to do a pencil drawing for yokai. I first read about a jorogumo in a book I got at the library called “Eerie Legends.” I’m quit enjoying that book, they are very short stories about creatures, monsters, phenomenons etc from around the world. Hello! Not too long go I saw a flyer from @artsupplywarehouse for a Ghibli inspired art show. I didn’t think I’d have time to enter a piece since I was busy with custom work and other projects at my table. I just went ahead and lost a lil bit sleep to be able to make something and luckily it got accepted! It was difficult to choose which character to focus on since there are so many good ones. I chose to make a “No Face” inspired doll from “Spirited Away.” I’m so excited to see everyone’s work at the show, it’s been ages since I do an art show. Hello! It’s been a good while since I make a pumpkin bat. I felt like adding some texture with her dress and I like the way it turned out. It is barely visible under her ruffled collar, that’s ok. Hola! Hacía bastante tiempo que no hacía un murciélago calabaza. Quería algo de textura a la parte superior de su vestido y me gusta cómo ha quedado.
