I did not realize how much I missed painting until I started working on this bookmark.

"Desire is an odd thing. As soon as it’s sated, it transmutes. If we receive golden thread, we desire the golden needle."

Painted these for my friend @spill.the.reads

There are many flaws in these paintings, but I am still very happy with how these have turned out.

Which one do you like the most?

Did you drink enough water today?

Most of my random drawings have a story attached to them.
For me, this small bottle of water represents courage and bravery.
This will always make me think of a courageous person who did something I would never have the guts to do.

Something simple this time 🌊

I love water colors because of how watery they look. I hate using them because of how swift one has to be with the brushstrokes and how painstakingly long it feels to wait for the layers of paint to dry.

استكاود

I lost interest less than halfway through working on this, but I'm forcing myself to draw or paint something in order to get out of my art block.

I should have used a drawing pen instead of a ballpoint pen here. And the road definitely could've used more details (pavers)

"The better thing to do now would be to walk away, walk away from anything that would distract her from what was important. But she couldn’t. She… hoped. And hope was dangerous. Hope was the most vicious evil of them all, the thing that had managed to thrive in Pandora’s box among misery, and disease, and sadness—and what could endure alongside others with such teeth if it didn’t have ghastly claws of its own?"

-Chloe Gong

Would you walk on a bridge like this even if you couldn't see the end?

"Snagged"

It is a very random drawing, but the purpose of art is to express something. It does not have to be beautiful. It does not have to be perfect. It just needs to make the onlooker think.
