Forza Horizon 6’s soundtrack has invaded my life.

Side note, drum are an extremely underrated species to fish for. Pitch something to one next time you see it, you won’t be disappointed if it eats.

The places fish take you is incredible. It’s not always about the fish, but the good times had finding them (but it’s also about the fish).

“Hex” Camp with @wiscobackwaters and @fatgordita took a turn to musky and it paid off. The Shirley Stupid has officially hit double digits on fish bagged this season, a stark difference to last year.

Sundown bite pays dividends - didn’t get on the water until quarter ‘til 8, thank god the days are getting longer.

First couple of weeks of southern musky season in the bag, along with a glider muncher on the Monday following opener.

Fish seem to be as cooperative as you could ask for without being greedy.

This one bumped out at 38 1/4” or 38 1/2”

We’re back, baby!

12 wt Beast from @chippewa_river_custom_rod lined with 800 grains of Sonar Musky goodness from Scientific Anglers, my go to tool for putting big flies where they need to be.

Gliders constructed of the best bucktail money can buy from my homies over at @muskyfool coupled with a @ppacchiarini dragon tail - nothing makes me feel more confident hunting for the fish of 10,000 casts.

Some might say “wrong paint job”, I say “good enough”.

Little photo dump of a couple little glider munchers from the last few weeks.

This year has been tough on me fishing, the southern end of the state was not kind to me. Plenty of fish hit the net to call it a good time, but the 40” mark eluded me all season this year.

At least I still got to touch a couple, and I don’t think it’s quite over yet. Might make a final push for a big’un still.

National girlfriends day (thanks for the reminder @its_allison13 😉💕)

Here’s to my fly flingin’, mushroom pickin’, wagon racin’, badass of a girlfriend.

I always thought the “when you know, you know” thing was just a trope. Im so happy to share it’s not. by @esoxidiot

The Slow Roller
A fly heavily inspired by @davehurl and his escapades flats fishing the Great Lakes. No big drum to bag yet, but I’ve had opportunity that would’ve panned out if I was a better fisherman.
At least I know I’ve got the right tool for the job.
Patiently waiting for cooler water and happy musky.
