How many times have you said those 2 words?
Well yeah, but…excuse
How many times have you been held back by those 2 words (3 I guess)?
Every time I hear a Dr say, “well your knees have been through a lot over the years”. Or, “getting a little older, may slow it up a tad”.
Yeah but, I have things to do. Yeah my knee still isn’t perfect yet BUT, I’m gonna try. Almost 3 years now and I haven’t stopped trying and I won’t stop trying. I truly believe this is the time it’ll click again.

It’s Leadville 100 weekend. This is a shout out to Rex Pace-Russell Allison (LEADMAN!!!) @spencsu, our families and friends who were, not only there, but helped us through all the dark training days. It was an honor and privilege to run that race. Thank you for everything. by @espes69

Thirty-two.
Thirty-two fricking years. Time slows for no one. I picked this picture specifically because for all of us there this was the biggest victory of the weekend. We won’t mention the asshole that gigged you the prior 2 days. This wonderful smile made our whole trip. Memories are what make a life. Let’s keep em coming

Boots Motel Carthage, MO. We got the room Clark Gable stayed in. Su sniffed the sheets, she said they smelled clean-I think she wanted more of a “Clark” scent. She’s weird. Anyway-fantastic place, never have we got to drive our car into and up to our door. 🤣🤣❤️ @spencsu by @espes69

I’ve been very lucky and blessed to be around many a great Mothers (I believe our family has the best😉). HOWEVER these 2 will always top the list. From the very deepest part of me I want to say thank you for always being there. Be it a smile-hug-word of encouragement- or an ass kickin. Moms are always there. Shall we all never forget it.
NOTE: there are many MANY other wonderful Mothers that are in my life I want to thank them also.

Baby steps. Been super lucky that this is my first long term injury. I’m learning it takes time, effort and a LOT of small victories to get back. And get back I Will. Thanks to @suttynstory for giving me my confidence back.
