Today's project has been a partial restoration of a wig I made waaay back when in uni - a complete rip out and replace of the whole crown area, salvaging as much of the original foundation as possible.

It's so evident to me now that I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I made this wig, and the years have not been kind to it. All over hair loss in the affected area thanks to a total lack of knowledge in materials and knotting techniques. Even with this back area replaced, there are a lot of questionable choices still existing in this poor gal. Swipe to the end for a jumpscare of the original foundation wherein I opted to use caul net for the back of this wig 😂

There's a lot I still want to do here, including knotting the new area and attempting some kind of restoration with the front lace. Stay tuned 💃
