Japanese Alps Trek-2025. 24 Hours in Old Pueblo MTB Race-Flew down to Tuscon with 3 @cotm_northbend teams (2 men’s and 1 women’s 4 person teams)-had a great time from start to finish (12p Saturday to 12p Sunday). I did 4 laps myself including 2 night laps-desert riding was beautiful and I was stoked to ride around all the catci! Very fun and friendly event! A unique race. Martin and I explored a few more trails the following Monday in the Catalina National Park-which was worth riding on very tired legs. We then explored the city of Tuscon a little bit on Tuesday, checking out Le Buzz, MSA Annex, Tuscon Botanical Gardens and Seis Kitchen. All in all, a short, splendid trip to the sunny desert! by @ess__mo

Ladies trip to see Sofi Tucker in Portland-20 hours, 9 ladies, 3 delicious meals (Guero, The Zipper and the Screen Door) and 1 amazing performance at the Moda Center. Glad I still have a party in me! These ladies are the best to rage with! by @ess__mo

24 hours in Dubai-went to the biggest mall in the world, the tallest building in the world, slept 7 hours, went to the underground aquarium and checked out. Worth it layover between Seattle and Nairobi. Thanks to Emirates we got our accommodation and meals covered. taken in Dubai by @ess__mo

The Huntington Gardens and Museum: Martin and I visited for the first time-we started in the morning in the desert gardens, lunched in the Jade Court in the Chinese Garden and ended in the Art museum, spending just about 5 hours there. My favorite was the European portraits and the famous “Blue Boy” by Thomas Gainsborough. taken in The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens by @ess__mo

Brandi Carlile weekend! Opened by Mumford and Allison Russell w/ Special guests Brandi Clark, Sarah McLachlan and Annie Lennox. Brandi was so good my sister thought she was lip singing but this was refuted with binoculars and Brandi throwing some impromptu notes and words. “Camp Benedict 2023”, I was lucky to go along on this adventure with these 4 women and 2 amazing guides from Great Canadian Heli Skiing. We were dropped into Benedict Creek basin for 5 days , 4 nights (4/13-4/18) at the base of Iconoclast Mountain in BC. My first Heli access skiing and true winter camping-we all faired rather well in staying warm, eating well and getting wicked sick lines. I already want more!
