Wrapped up both giveaways for this month and met Natalie and Shelina in person.

Natalie took home a gift card to @tatinbakehouse.
 Shelina won the surprise giveaway for gift cards to @tribecacoffee @wetcoffee.ca and @bakeon.to.

I started doing this because real estate is not just about listings and sales. It is about knowing the people who live here and being part of the neighbourhood. The more time I spend meeting residents, the better I understand what this community actually values. It helps me do my job properly because I see the real side of the Preserve, not just the part that shows up on paper.

Here’s the version of @fksstudio that didn’t make it into the main video. The one who admits she knows zero about Pokémon, calls herself a sad beige mom, and somehow turns cleaning into a personality trait. She goes from calm to laughing at herself in about three seconds and it makes the whole thing even better.

Talking to her felt like hanging out with someone you already know. No act. No trying to sound perfect. Just real energy and jokes that come out of nowhere.

🎉 Congratulations to Shelina. You are the winner of the surprise giveaway.

I felt like doing something extra this month since the holidays are coming up, so I added a second giveaway for coffee shop gift cards.

@tribecacoffee is located in downtown and has been a favourite for years and their donuts are way too good. @wetcoffee.ca has a bright look and my wife always gets their matcha. @bakeon.to is right here in the Preserve and their pastries are amazing.

Shelina, I will stop by to hand deliver all three gift cards. Looking forward to meeting you.

🎉 Congrats to Natalie. You’re this month’s winner.

If you watched my last video, you already know how much my wife and I loved our photos from @fksstudio. Fatima captured us in a way that felt real. It made me want to gift someone in the community that same experience.

The timing was a bit tight because she has only one Christmas mini date left on November 23. So I gave the winner a choice. You can take the photoshoot on the 23rd if it works for you. Or you can choose a gift card to @tatinbakehouse, one of my favourite spots in Oakville. It is run by Lili and I cannot forget Sheila.

This is Fatima from @fksstudio. A mother, an artist, and someone who captures life as it is. Imperfect, beautiful, worth remembering.

Most of the time, The Preserve Guide stays focused on our community in Oakville. But sometimes someone outside those borders deserves to be shared.

My wife and I booked a photoshoot with Fatima at FKS Studio in Burlington. We expected a simple session. What she gave us were images that felt like memory. Soft glances, quiet laughs, real moments that slip past too fast.

That’s what she does. Warm, honest photos that aren’t staged or forced.

FKS Studio started as a side project in university and grew after she became a mother. Photographing her daughter changed how she saw the world. Now she helps families hold on to moments that fade quickly.

Her studio feels calm and intentional. Toys in the corner, warm tones, a quiet energy that puts people at ease. She calls it documentary style photography, but it’s really storytelling through stillness.

Her Christmas Mini Sessions are happening now. Gentle light, natural smiles, the feeling this season is supposed to have.

Hi there! 👋🏽

This is something new for me—a proper introduction! I’m Essam Nadeem.

When I’m not out showing homes, you’ll catch me at the best pizza joints or snapping pics with my camera. 🍕📸 I’m super picky about my pizza. It has to be NY style—thin, crispy, and just the right amount of flop. No toppings, just cheese or Margarita. That’s the only way to eat pizza! Disagree? That’s a pizza my heart you’ll never understand.

When I’m not stuffing my face with pizza, I’m capturing moments or kicking it with the fam. This pic perfectly sums me up—shoutout to my wife @_shahxo for nailing it! 📸

Lately, I’ve been on a journey to be the best version of myself—pushing my comfort zone and putting myself out there. Whether it’s creating content about real estate or making lead calls, I’m getting more comfortable with being told “no”. And no, I don’t make annoying duct cleaning calls! I help families upsize their home in Oakville.
